I think it is a good app for coding on mobile, but has very little support for any language that is not HTML or XML. For instance, with python it highlights syntax b7t as far as I can tell there is no way to run the code itself. I like the idea and I hope work is continued on it. ### 1/5 — No import option *2018-04-01, version 5.3* I didn’t even get to try out the editor as there is no option to import a file or folder from dropbox, iCloud or anywhere else. All I wanted was to read over some code I’m working on while I’m out and have some downtime to fill. ### 2/5 — Features not even half-baked *2018-01-15, version 5.3* There are a bunch of decent syntax coloring themes to choose from. Too bad the theme reverts to the default as soon as you leave the editor, thereby making the feature less than useless (inasmuch as it’s an infuriating waste of time). No coding-specific keyboard accessories. Impressive list of languages supported, but not the one I need, and, according to another reviewer, the language choice doesn’t stick, regardless. Releasing features before they’re useful is worse than not having the feature at all. ### 4/5 — Solid code editor *2018-01-04, version 5.3* Great code editor only a couple of things I would add: be able to export your files without having to copy/paste code, be able to run other languages (Python, C++, Etc), also I would quite like the JavaScript console when using HTML so I can find out the errors without tirelessly scanning my code. ### 4/5 — Good app but publishing missing *2017-12-03, version 5.3* This is an awesome app with a nice selection of templates to edit away using HTML and CSS. One thing that would complete this app is publishing to a web server eg. It's just the technicality, such as, exporting codes or having code short cuts. Also, no highlights! Also, it crashes and code goes va-moose! I hope to see more progress from this! However, it is annoying when you make a file and code it, and when you want to move it to your computer or move a file from you computer, it’s bad! There should be a feature to import a file from the new files app or export a file from the app to the new files app or send the document via email. I also found every time I set the theme, I exit out and when I come back later, the theme has been reset! So overall it’s great but could be vastly improved. ### 4/5 — Excellent *2017-10-24, version 5.3* This app is great for anyone who knows how to be a web designer and knows their way around web code. The lack of an auto complete function for my html code would be a nice feature (as it saves time) but it is not necessary. I will always do my main coding on my PC but It is fun to tinker with ideas and create small websites for companies or individual projects. Once the FTP and File Sharing features come to this application I will (finally) be able to transform my iPad Pro to a full web development machine where I can make live updates to websites I maintain and also start projects and work on them as I please. Keep up the great work on this app! Look forward to seeing what comes next! ### 3/5 — Good App But VERY Unstable *2017-10-22, version 5.3* This Review Is About All The Glitches I Have Found In The App That Need Fixing. 1. Very Unstable. Fix: Make Sure Some Of The Unused Code Of The App Is Not Enabled And Unused Pieces Of Code Are Removed. 2. Menu Randomly Keeps Popping Up And Ruining Code. Fix: Make A Button At The Top Of The Screen Or Check Hit boxes of sliders. So here’s the problem: It always is XML, regardless of if it’s a .js or a XML file. You have to manually fiddle around. Then it resets, so you got to do the above again. So introduce major bug fixes. ### 1/5 — Totally unusable, rubbish. *2019-06-15, version 5.3* As others have said uploading is an issue, but the main problem for me is the menu continually popping open taking up all the real estate on the screen! If I could get past this, I could at least cut and paste each page somewhere! There is simply no way to code whilst the huge keyboard and this menu blocks out everything you’re trying to get a handle on every 1/2 second or so, with no real reason for doing so. I suspect it’s so I hit the ‘Go Pro’ button at the bottom of the menu, but seriously, why would I do that! Has some interesting promised features, some of which aren’t actually there yet. May be a good app one day, but today, don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — No connections *2019-04-17, version 5.3* Description states you can upload files with ease, but once downloaded the app states this is all still in development. Based on other reviews it seems like this has been the case for some time. Deleted within minutes of downloading. ### 1/5 — Didn’t find it useful at all *2018-11-01, version 5.3* I opened the app, created a file, and set the language to C#. Then I started writing code. First, it didn’t indent anything.
