For example every time one drives within 300 yards of Home Depot etc. it sets off an alarm compelling you to stop and shop. There's another app called "ScanLife" that looks exactly like this one except it works. ### 1/5 — USE TO BE GOOD APP-NOT NOW! *2017-04-29, version 6.4* I am a personal user of the ScanLife Mobile App. The app did work well for the last 2 years, HOWEVER, it does not recognize any UPC's now!! I loved being able to compare prices and now all I get is "Sorry we couldn't find this product anywhere". REALLY?? Also when I scan a Code-it just tells me about the product which is good info-but would be nice if it would show comparison shopping options and prices! Now When it doesn't crash, it reads the QR code and pops up to tell you the URL it found, but there isn't any way to actually go to the URL. It is fairly quick when it works, and it works without having to carefully position the code at the right size and distance. I was getting a black screen too until I found out my camera was turned off.
