If you don’t want to be ripped off on your 5 gifted stories logout and log back in every time you want to gift a story otherwise it will just spin And and not gift and you lose one gift each time. For example when it resets to 5 stories each month you gift a story and you end up with 3 left instead of 4 and so on. ### 2/5 — Comments *2026-05-28, version 1.17.1* Comments has been down for a while is it coming back? ### 4/5 — Live Activities *2026-05-02* Need a feature to turn live activities on from within the app. Sometimes the notification doesn’t work and there’s no way to activate live activities if it doesn’t work or decide you want a score for an another game you haven’t got notifications turned on for. ### 3/5 — Tom Sangster’s SuperCoach *2026-04-13* I’m disappointed you don’t get all of Tom Sangster’s SuperCoach videos like team list Tuesday. I have to go to UTube to watch which is very frustrating. I’m not a fan of AFL, I don’t like like AFL, I have turned off the AFL notifications - but they keep coming! Never ending AFL notifications. Deep breath. ### 2/5 — Poor tech *2025-10-09* Quite a bad experience. App doesn’t have a persistent login, so even though I have subscribed, it logs you out then doesn’t recognise when it logs you back in via an external website. Simply not coded well. I’m a hoops fan and always have multiple clicks to get to any basketball content, as they try to shove league down your throat. ### 2/5 — Frustrations *2025-07-26* Extremely frustrating app. Takes forever to load, often not loading at all. Sports ordering is prescribed, you can’t list in order of preference. This means I’m constantly having to scroll through articles on sports of no interest to me like aussie rules, pressing “Other”, before getting the opportunity to see any stories on football, for example. I made sure sport was off, turned all notifications off and I’m still getting them but also rarely notified for sports I follow. Help ai was less than useful ### 1/5 — Infuriating *2026-04-17, version 1.17.0* Code Sports is a disappointing experience from both a content and app perspective. The quality of the articles is generally quite low, lacking the depth and insight you’d expect from a paid subscription service. Unfortunately, the app itself is just as underwhelming. It’s plagued with bugs, the most frustrating being the inability to properly manage notification settings. I’ve turned off AFL notifications multiple times, yet the app continues to switch them back on without fail. It’s a basic feature that simply doesn’t work, which sums up the overall experience. The whole platform feels unfinished and poorly maintained. No iPad app in 2025, or if there is I cannot log in to my membership as it will not let me enter numbers in the email address section. At one point I was offered a new subscription offer and now somehow I have two subscriptions with two monthly fees but can’t see where I can unsubscribe from the second one (or is it the first one?) as only one shows up on my account. Also I cannot login to games the screen keeps flashing on and off trying to log in. Very glitchy. Also rugby league is poo and can gth. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Paid for 12 months for the app the update, log me out and not recognise my subscription when logging back in. Not the first time either. Absolutely fed up with this service.
