### 1/5 — Works. Sort of…

*2026-07-24*

You can definitely load projects and work with them locally but it would be ideal to use the remote tunnel feature of vs code to instead control the open projects on my main machine instead of having to duplicate a whole dev environment on the Vision Pro. That feature DOES NOT WORK. Any time you try to connect, it opens up vs code in safari in a broken environment. It’s a really big bummer. I wasn’t able to find a way to contact support so I’m writing here instead, hoping this can be addressed.

### 5/5 — settings tabs dont work

cant connect to own server, because settings page dont do anything

### 5/5 — Amazing ✨

This app is amazing as a replacement for the PWA approach, it fixes issues related to shortcuts

### 1/5 — 所有插件都无法安装

### 5/5 — A must-have if you use VSCode Server.

*2026-04-15*

Codeman - VSCode Server on your iPad or iPhone without a physical keyboard? Codeman is the way to go. It's hands down the best app for this niche. I've tried many other apps, but most are just wrappers for using the regular interface through Safari. Codeman takes it a step further by offering a dedicated virtual keyboard that enables features like cut and paste. Without this, editing on the go is a hassle and not very practical. The developer is incredibly responsive to user feedback and improvements. I can't emphasize enough how exceptional this app is and how it has revolutionized my workflow when working on the go.

### 5/5 — ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid app, genuinely surprised

Picked this up after getting frustrated with a couple of the other options on the App Store.

Not much to say except it just works. Connecting to servers is straightforward and your code stays on your server. No weird quirks, no mystery crashes.

Works on any iPad , which I appreciated since I’m on an older Air. Interface is clean and stays out of the way.
If you do any real coding on iPad, it’s worth the download.

I’ve tried a few of the alternatives and keep coming back to this one.
