Used to work on previous versions. Had some issues with notifications failing to show up when new messages came in, but otherwise the chat worked well enough.

Now it doesn't work at all. Consistently crashes on open.

Using email + mobile website in the meantime.

It works well for communicating with clients.  It’s just lacks polish.  The badge that displays the number of unread notifications on the app icon doesn’t disappear when you view a notification inside the app.  Very few details about an open job compared to the website.  It’s not bad.  But I was expecting more from a platform that prides themselves in sourcing top development talent while only being able to put out a mediocre app.

EDIT:  Today, I never received a notification when I was messaged by a new client.   This resulted in a missed work opportunity.  1 Star until that is fixed.

This is worst app i have. It takes a lot fir an app to be bad enough i just delete it, but this one wins that prize. 

I would be embarrassed to release such junk. Codementor should be able to do better

No Google Sign In means I can't log into the app and therefore can't use it. As a mentor I would much rather use a native app to respond to my mentees and this app fails to help me do that. Pretty weak.

Considering the absolute wealth of talent available to a site that offers a way to find freelance work for programmers, it’s suspicious that they haven’t been able to get a single programmer who can keep this app updated. 

It won’t login despite valid credentials. It also hasn't been updated in almost a year.

I’m using social media profile login on the website, but the button to tap to login with Google is below the on-screen keyboard. Can’t swipe that down nor can I scroll down. Can’t rotate. Can’t do anything. Stuck at the login screen.

It looks like they fixed whatever was wrong with the network or site. I am now able to login and the app loads.

I had thought this app would work like the website but it only lets you chat and see notifications. And even that's not working right. When I click on a notification it's completely blank! There is no text and the red alert badge on the app icon shows up even when there is no notification.

Notices are always, without fail, delayed by 2-3 hours minimum for new updates. For existing communications, sometimes 30m-1h and they come in batches.

Needs a lot of work still. Rather clunky UI. I wound up deleting the app because there was no way to easily mark all notifications as read. Perhaps they should hire a mentor to improve the app. ;)
