CodeREADr is an enterprise-grade barcode scanner and data capture app used by businesses and integrated by developers for capturing, validating and tracking data (AIDC). Use the app in conjunction with our paid web services to scan barcodes, read NFC, and capture text (OCR). You can collect data with form fields, secondary scans, multiple choice answers, drop-down menus, photos, GPS locations, and signatures. The price point is extremely reasonable and flexible. We only have a few large events a year so we love how you can drop to a free plan when not using the software. Their customer service is amazing! It's a real person on chat that answers quickly and with detailed answers; Not generic, canned answers. Highly recommend!! Especially since you can test it out for free first. ### 5/5 — Fantastic Help *2023-11-03* This app is fantastic and so easy to use. I went into some stores to do some UPC research and took over 1,500 pictures of individual UPCs with my phone. I transferred them to my computer and then had to extract the UPC number from those pictures. This app did the trick and SO fast and accurate. I would love a feature that lets you enter in a category and subcategory so that all scans would receive those tags and then you could enter in a new category and subcategory for further scans. I had to manually do that after the scans but I had done enough prep work beforehand to make this a little easier. Also, if you could enter in which modular section the scans are in that would be nice too. Regardless, this app and website was so easy to use and retrieve the UPC data and I’m so glad I found it. I am not aware of a single issue of service downtime in that entire period. The developer is highly responsive to both telephone and email communication. He was extremely helpful when we initially set up the service in selecting compatible hardware and creating a custom regular expression to filter scanned data. The web interface for accessing and manipulating stored data is very user friendly. Very recently the developer again helped me solve a local hardware issue that had nothing to do with their software. I can’t recommend this application and service highly enough! Carl R.
