This electronic version of the classic newspaper puzzles game enables you to try various combinations of letters which speeds things up quite a lot. As a consequence you will find that this version is much easier than the pencil and paper one. I ended up just downloading the hard and expert puzzles as the others were far too simple. ### 4/5 — Hooked but too many repeat words *2022-12-20, version 3.0* Loving this make me relax guess where letters go. Thanks, Donnalou ### 4/5 — Patronising *2021-09-08, version 3.0* Like many others I find this to be a very well graduated app. However, bearing in mind the demographic it is aimed at, the randomly generated phrases at the end of each puzzle are patronising and irritating. “You Rock!” “Your on Fire!” And so on… Please remove them, or enable an option to switch them off. The first two at each level are free - then you have to pay to access more. Plus it’s American spelling, so no good for me. Plenty of apps out there which are free. However, you get exactly 10 puzzles, which will take maybe 10 to 20 minutes to complete in total. Then the app is useless unless you want to keep paying. The offering of 1400 games in the paid version for $7 is thus not the bargain that it originally seems, since only 200 of them would be of interest. There is another review that says the same thing and Sarah Pierce Games said they added this option in the top right corner of each puzzle but all my puzzles have is a CLEAR option! Don’t understand why they say the option is available when I’ve looked everywhere and cannot find!
