Oui, il faut du vocabulaire, mais aussi savoir écrire correctement les mots.  Il y a quelques stratégies à utiliser pour déduire les lettres…Super!

I really enjoy playing Codewords. It’s not too taxing for my elderly brain, but hard enough to get the brain cells firing. I occasionally get confused by the differences in spelling between USA and UK. I like that when I get stuck, I can verify the puzzle, to see if I have placed a letter incorrectly. 
I would recommend this game to anyone that enjoys a word puzzle.

I purchased this game for my grandmother last year. Her iPad died and she got a replacement and today when I was visiting she told me how much she missed it. There are other codewords games out there but none are of this quality. The add-on pack used to not be in an app purchase. So it’s unfortunate we had to re-buy it since it would not restore. But it’s worth it for her enjoyment. There are a few games that she loves.

Mi piace molto, io amo i cruciverba crittografati ed in questa App ce nè  per tutti, dai più facili ai difficilissimi, (anche da completare senza neppure una lettera). Peccato che dei cruci difficili ce ne sono solo 150 e li ho completati in breve tempo, non ce ne sono altri. Ora ho iniziato i 120 “esperti” ma in breve finirò pure quelli quindi poi dovrò cancellare l’App. Per questo motivo dò solo 3 stelle

Really enjoy doing Codewords on iPad. I like that I can easily change the letters.   Also like fact I can ask for other letters to be revealed.

Unlike real Codeword puzzles, like those found in The Times newspaper, these codewords (small ‘c’) allow such things as: people’s names, actual places, pop groups, Latin, Spanish (I think) and abbreviations.
But, the absolute worst thing has to be the ridiculous Ammerrikun miss spelings!
Quite how one is supposed to get the answer (properly) correct, when what is called for is actually *incorrect*, beggars belief.
I have had to look-up scores of ‘words’, trying to ascertain what it is supposed to be, but, because I’m spelling things *correctly*, even Google sometimes struggles.

And as for three-letter words!?
Most of them are not words at all, just a jumble of leftover letters, used to fill the gaps - and this was on the ‘Expert’ level. 

This could be *SO* much better.
Using ALL the letters of the alphabet would be a good starting point.

Latest (and to be the last because it is being removed from my ‘device’) puzzle had the following ‘answers’:

ANE (no idea)
FESS (abbreviation / lazy / slang)
THO (abbreviation / lazy)
HELO (incorrect)
PEC (abbreviation / lazy)
REBEC (no idea)
REDD (no idea… “read”, past tense of ‘read’?)
WHA (no idea)
ASP (acronym)
ORS (an acronym for a drink, or something!)
LOTA (no idea)
BENE (Italian / Latin?)
TUI (a holiday / travel company?)

If you are someone who can spell correctly, I would suggest you do not try this App.

Applicazione interessante, peccato le innumerevoli coniugazioni verbali ( totalmente inattese e forse anche inadeguate ) totale assenza di termini con riferimenti culturali umanistici e scientifici. Assolutamente da perfezionare.

Non-intrusive ads, plenty of free content, and overall wonderful to use. The fonts can be changed, the sizes, the timer removed -- reminds me of a time when ads weren't so prevalent in App Store content! Love it.

I used to be subscribed to its paper version for years, but then I had problems with my eyesight , and had to stop.
Now I’ve found a compatible version to play on my iPad, well, not just a compatible erosion, a perfect version, I’ve bought the full set ! Enough games to feed my addiction, haha, and no more ads !
