## What is CoDriver?

CoDriver calls the road ahead like a rally co-driver. Pick a road, press START, and a voice reads a pacenote for every corner, “150 long left 4 minus, tightens 3”, timed to where you are. The notes are built from map data: no recce, nothing to drive or record first.

Made for the Sunday drive over a mountain pass, the back road home and the road trip you have been planning.

FOUR WAYS TO DRIVE
• Follow the road: one tap. CoDriver takes the road you are on and calls it ahead, through junctions. Turn off and it follows the new road.
• Where to?: search for a place or drop a pin. CoDriver routes there and calls the route, and reroutes if you take another turn.
• Plan a route on the map: start, stops and end. The notes are built before you go and stored, so the drive works without signal.
• Famous stages and roads: Ouninpohja, the Col de Turini, the Stelvio and more are waiting in My routes. Watch real onboard footage with the notes called over it, or simulate the drive from your sofa.

THE NOTES
• Corners graded 1 to 6, with half grades (+ / −) if you want them
• Hairpins and square turns, long and very long, tightens and opens, “into” and “and”
• Crests where the terrain data is precise enough (lidar). Each route shows “Corners + crests” or “Corners only”, so you know what you get
• Your grade scale: 1 or 6 as the tightest corner
• Grading, from very brave to very cautious
• Crest filter, from severe crests only to every one
• A co-driver voice made for pacenotes, with an optional rally-helmet intercom sound
• English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German and Dutch, for the app and the calls

DRIVE SAFELY
The notes come from OpenStreetMap and terrain data, not from anyone driving the road. They can be wrong or out of date: roadworks, new junctions, gravel, a badly mapped corner. Drive to what you see, and always obey traffic laws: speed limits, your lane and other road users come first. CoDriver never tells you how fast to drive. Mount your phone and set your route before you set off.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-26

• A drive asks for location before it starts, with the way to settings when it's refused or off.
• Off a planned route the calls stop: "Off route" and the way back to it, until you're on it again.
• Until the GPS has found you, a drive waits instead of showing you at the route's start.
• Not in the car? Simulate a drive, right from the waiting screen.
• "Before you go" now covers the whole screen.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-24

• Turn-offs on a planned route are called as such: "Junction left", with the grade when it's a faster one.
• New setting, Call timing: hear the calls later or earlier.
• Right-angle corners are called by their grade, no more "square".
• Follow the road no longer leaves its road for a side street of the same name after a roundabout.
• Grading and crest filter of a route on one line; tap it to change them.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-23

• Fixed a crash when closing a screen while its map was still drawing.
• New Zealand: Crown Range, Takaka Hill, Arthur's Pass and Remutaka Hill in My routes, on phones set to New Zealand.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-21

• Now in Finnish: the app and the calls.
• Miles and mph where your phone's region uses them, with a Units setting.
• Watch a demo: every onboard in one list.
• Reshape a planned route by dragging the dot on the line.
• The pacenote slider is now Grading, from Very brave to Very cautious.
• Long straights: "Straight", then the next corner early with its distance.
• Crest calls only on laser-scanned heights; steadier Off route and map zoom.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-20

• New pacenote slider: from Calls much slower to Calls much faster, and WRC pace on the WRC stages. 5s and 6s now fit fast corners better.
• Watch the stage onboards with the notes: Kaugatoma (the creator's own), Ouninpohja and Col de Turini.
• Away from your route? An arrow and the distance show the way to it.
• Reroutes keep going your way instead of turning you around.
• Mute button while driving. Jump calls are now a setting, off by default.
• Bridges and tunnels handled in the heights; crest calls more precise.
• Usage statistics switch and Send feedback in Settings.
