COFCO Futures (International) Co., Ltd. (BNE728), registered on November 23, 2017, is a securities and futures brokerage company licensed by the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission (SFC) to engage in regulated activities corresponding to the licence requirements. The company has issued a capital stock of HK$200 million. Among them, COFCO Futures Co., Ltd. holds 95.1214% and COFCO Capital (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. holds 4.8786%. Founded in 1996, COFCO Futures Co., Ltd. has registered capital of 846.2 million yuan. Its shareholders are COFCO Capital Investment Co., Ltd. and China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. Among them, COFCO Capital is a wholly-owned subsidiary of COFCO Group Co., Ltd., the world's top 500 enterprises. The latter completed the first international futures transaction in New China as early as the 1970s, and is the earliest company in China to participate in the futures business. China Life is the "first insurance company" in the mainland capital market and the first insurance company listed in New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai in the world. At present, China Life has become the largest listed life insurance company in the world. COFCO Futures has full membership in Shanghai, Dalian and Zhengzhou Futures Exchanges. It is a member of China Financial Futures Exchange, a member of Dalian Commodity Exchange and Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, a member of Shanghai Futures Exchange Membership Committee and a member of China Futures Association. Founded on 2016, COFCO Capital (Hong Kong) is a subsidiary of COFCO Asset Management (International) Limited, which holds a license from the Securities and Futures Commission to engage in regulated activities corresponding to the license requirements. COFCO Capital (Hong Kong) is an offshore financial platform for COFCO Capital, which is committed to building a cross-border investment and financing business platform for COFCO Capital.
