You will notice that the app developer is not Radio Lingua. We have already entered a legal process to ensure that this unauthorised app is removed from the App Store.” Crazy… beware! ### 1/5 — Glitchy app *2025-07-24, version 1.1* Lessons are great but when the phone goes into Lock Screen it stops working. Can’t download the lessons to listen to offline. I’ve gotten up to Intermediate Lesson 30, at which point I was asked to pay $79.99 for “full access to all content.” I submitted payment, and I can no longer access any of the lessons. I keep getting directed to the payment page. This is so disappointing, as I had really been enjoying Coffee Break Italian. I thought I would check it out. Downloaded it and there is no way to determine what the app does without paying for it. Why would I just pay for something when I know nothing about it? The same is attached to all following lessons. Further, they don’t seem to be able to be saved as. PDF or printed. Is this app still associated with Coffee Break Languages or is it pirated? The corresponding text file is not for Lesson Three, but rather a repeat of Lesson Two material. I’ve been enjoying the podcast and wanted to access the written transcripts. This app allows you to see the first transcript, but after I paid and supposedly purchased the courses, I was unable to open any additional content. I think the developer just copied the logo (which is red and green, not the colors of this guy’s logo) and course format and created a copycat to take people’s money. I’m usually pretty savvy about these things, but I fell for this one. Shame on me, but shame on him. ### 1/5 — Cannot access my purchased courses through this app *2025-09-03* I am having difficulty in accessing the courses that I have already purchased from CB Academy from a browser. I have to go through a long process of logging in via 2 way verification, finding the course from the 9 that I have purchased that I want to use, and then scrolling down to the specific lesson and then the specific segment of the lesson that I want to access before I can start to use the lesson. I thought that maybe by using this app, I could get back to where I was for the course that I am pursuing via this app without having to take all the steps that I am not taking in the browser. I cannot even log into access the courses that I have purchased with this app. I would have given this app a 0 star rating but in order to provide a review, I had to give it a 1 star rating, ### 1/5 — Poor app-poor customer service *2025-08-28* This app doesn’t retain the last listening spot you may be on, even offline and always returns to the beginning. There is no option to print text material. But it definitely isn’t for me when it’s just audio and a bunch of lip smacking sending me into overstimulation. I’m autistic so I’m sensitive to noises, I can’t learn from audio where both the woman and man are talking with some lip smacking. I couldn’t even got through 19.2% of lesson one because of how annoying the noises their mouths were making while talking along with the microphone not being good. There was some popping with the mic, I’m gonna try and find a better app that suits my needs as a autistic person. ### 3/5 — Lesson 1 Spanish is actually lesson 11 *2025-01-04, version 1.1* Trying to start Spanish but lesson 1 when you listen to it is lesson 11. ### 3/5 — I wish I could rate it higher but.. *2024-05-02* I do really like the app, it only takes a listen or two to pick up the phrases. The only issues are that I use it while driving or cooking but the app doesn’t play if I close it or my phone turns off the way other podcast and entertainment apps do. Alongside that, if I listen to half of the audio and plan to listen to the rest later. Even if the progress says I’m 35% through it’ll shoot me back to the beginning. Otherwise pretty decent I just wish I could actually use it on my downtime or when I have a minute without having to constantly tap it back on and then it reload ### 3/5 — Learning Italian *2024-02-10* I love the lessons but my APP does not continue when my iphone screen locks.
