However I’m really disappointed with this app. I paid for the Premium account because it advertised unlimited suggested people, but that was not my experience at all. Maybe the first week was somewhat unlimited, but after that I was only getting around 2–3 suggested people a day. Otherwise, I had to use the Discover tab, where I had to send “flowers” to interact with people. Once you run out of flowers, you have to purchase more. For a paid Premium subscription, I expected to actually receive unlimited suggested people, not be limited and then pushed toward additional purchases. ### 2/5 — Fake Accounts *2026-08-11, version 10.6.1* Cannot go into detail how bad this app is, so here are the high lights: 1. Most times I would be told that I was out of suggestions and then the prior suggestions that I had already passed on would reappear in my suggestion stack and also in my discover stack. The quality of men is not the best for professional Christian women seeking marriage and kids. ### 2/5 — Bugs *2026-08-05, version 10.6.0* Just keeps repeating the same people on my feed. When I leave the app and come back it refreshes. It didn’t do that before. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2026-08-04, version 10.6.0* As of Aug 4th 2026, CMB won’t let you send a like due to a show-stopper bug that will froze the app when it’s trying to open a message box beneath the like button. It’s been few days since I found this bug and apparently it’s not urgent enough for CMB team to fix this. ### 1/5 — The Equivalent of a Paper Weight *2026-08-03, version 10.5.3* You know what they say now.. nothing is for free and CMB is exactly this. Unless you have money to spare it’s an absolutely useless app. It is the app equivalent of a paper weight. ### 4/5 — Enjoyable Online Dating *2026-08-02, version 10.5.3* Folks on the app seem more mature and intentional. I’ve come across a few creeps but overall a good experience. This app is definitely a place where you will meet more nerds. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2026-08-02, version 10.5.3* Overall the features and people on the app are good, but I don’t like how it “rations” the number of ‘suggested’ profiles each day - it used to start with a reasonable number, between 15 and 20 new profiles per day but lately that’s hovering around 5. Then the app forces you to scroll the ‘Discover’ section where they start charging you extra just to send a like (or “flowers”). That’s how they get you for more money after already paying for a subscription - greedy, tacky, lame. Aside from that, the format for filling out profiles has pretty banal or boring prompts which doesn’t really help showcase the personality of each person. Just some photos and a few canned answers to canned questions. So, could be better. ### 1/5 — People who like me not showing on my stack *2026-08-01, version 10.5.3* It doesn’t feel good giving a 1star because I actually used CmB several years ago and really enjoyed it and got a good amount of matches. But the UI is very outdated, and the app sometimes feels like it’s working against you. I can see that people have liked me, but they’re all blurred. I wouldn’t mind this being paywalled, but they do not show up in my daily stack even after several days. So they’re basically holding your potential matches hostage behind a paywall, which is pretty manipulative towards users. This does not feel like the devs actually care about the users. If they’re going to make it so that likes don’t show up, you might as well just make the entire app pay to use. Just use Hinge. With Hinge, you can see one of your likes at a time without having to go through a paywall. You get the basics for free, and I feel a lot better about paying for their premium features. ### 1/5 — App frozen when press like *2026-08-01, version 10.5.3* No idea what happen frozen when press like. Restarted phone and deleted and redownloaded the ap and resigned in and still the same issue ### 1/5 — Extremely slow *2026-07-31, version 10.5.3* Limited unless you pay for premium. there is a countdown timer that shows you when you will be able to view new matches and for three hours on end the timer is stuck around the 20 minute mark. I have to close the app and reopen it to fix it. They don’t do anything when you report a dangerous man but claim they do. It’s all BS and they will side with a psychotic man who hates rejection so much he will report false accusations to get an innocent member banned, with zero proof at that. This app is a joke and I recommend any other app - hinge, bumble, match - those are where people actually are. The moment I did the like disappeared. Now I’m out of $39.99 ### 1/5 — Banned before I even joined *2026-07-25, version 10.5.3* I tried to join CMB for the first time a week ago, and text verification wouldn’t get accepted. It seemed like a glitch, and after a couple days it let me go through the rest of signup. I provided my real, legal ID, and had my account get rejected. Support wouldn’t help or give any info. I was banned for “violating the community guidelines and terms of service”, on an app where I couldn’t even make an account. I have no criminal record, never been banned from any other app, no clue why this happened. Don’t even try. There are different categories of push notifications in the app, but marketing notifications is not one of them. Then this idiotic app asks me to re-fill out everything. That is about as stupid as you can get. But, greedy paywall gets you. ### 1/5 — App Freezes When I Try to Like Profiles *2026-08-08, version 10.6.0* The app logs in and opens normally, but as soon as I start clicking “Like” on profiles, the app completely freezes. The screen becomes unresponsive, and the only way to get out of it is to swipe up and force-close the app. I have already tried troubleshooting the issue by going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and offloading the app. I also completely deleted the app from my iPhone and reinstalled it, but the problem still happens. After logging back in, the same freezing issue occurs again when I try to Like profiles. There is currently no way around it, which makes the app essentially unusable. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 18.7.8, which is the latest version of iOS 18. I do not want to upgrade to iOS 26, so please make sure the app continues to work properly on iOS 18. Please investigate and fix this issue. I have already tried reinstalling the app, and the problem still persists. Even after paying about $40 for Premium (for a month), you’re still extremely limited in how many people you can actually interact with because both Likes and Flowers are restricted. The entire experience feels unnecessary restrictive, and you should stay far away from this app. Whatever you do, don’t waste your money on premium. ### 1/5 — Scam (Read before downloading) *2026-08-07, version 10.6.0* Before you download, read this: You get a certain number of people to swipe through (a batch), then you’ll be timed out until the next day. Here’s the upset: Those batches of people will likely NEVER be a match. The app will then tease you with people who’ve liked your profile, but you won’t have access to those people. They use “batches” to accumulate who likes who, then keep you from seeing who likes for payment. You will essentially NEVER match with someone in your batch.. its main purpose is to show the person you like (and vice versa) that “someone” (you) likes them & charges them to see it. You will be forced to pay $109, $90 or $39/mth (the cheapest) just to see those matches. A lot of apps does this… and the only app that doesn’t so far, is the “Duet” app, which is way more transparent & you’ll actually get matches without essentially paying for a match that may or may not work out. CMB should be ashamed of this. ### 1/5 — No matches for 2 weeks *2026-08-07, version 10.6.0* Well, after paying for the app three month subscription I have spent weeks not getting any match suggestions. Talked to Doms from customer service…they were not only condescending but told me to just change my preferences. Not worth your money or time if you live in a place with a small pool of people. Maybe works better in NY or LA, but not here. If you want to try it, don’t waste money. I had no previous dating app experience and knew I wanted something serious. Thankfully, that’s exactly the vibe i got right off the bat. All of the profiles I saw were in my preferences and I could tell these people put in a Lot of effort to express themselves clearly and be forward with their intentions. I probably could have been on here for a while and had several great conversations / dates. Also, generally, the app’s format seemed straightforward and easy to use. I say probably for the same reason my review title says I got really lucky. After setting up my profile and getting some likes, i stuck around to see who was liking my profile (the app doesnt show you right away without a subscription… unless someone sends you “flowers”)… and I got some flowers! :)) that let me see his profile right away, and long story short, we hit it off immediately. He was the first conversation I had and we instantly clicked, our conversation flowed right from the app to texting to dates. We’ve been seeing each other seriously for a while now and we feel amazing about it!! I wouldnt be writing this review if it hadnt gone so perfect for me. I literally dont ever review anything. If youre looking for something serious, I would Definitely try this out.
