## What is Coffee Quest?

There is no named account or sign-up, we never ask for your email or password, and we don't track you, advertise to you, or sell anything about you. The app automatically creates an anonymous identity.

Coffee Quest is for the cafes you’d walk straight past.

Find character-rich independent cafes near you, browse the ones that deserve judgement, save your favourites, and build a Grand Quest for a coffee walk worth taking.

• Discover hidden gems and quirky local finds
• Build a walking or driving cafe quest
• Keep your approved cafes in My List
• Keep private café notes on your iPhone
• Rate discovered cafés; submitting a rating records a nomination and contributes to the community score

Coffee Quest judges cafes, not people.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-26

Explore nearby independent cafes on the map, tap numbered markers to see cafe details, and search a new area. This update also improves cafe discovery and clarifies optional location access.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-02

Coffee Quest 1.0.2 improves Map View so the first café is centred with a compact name flag. Tapping another marker moves the flag, and tapping the flag opens the full café details. This update also strengthens anonymous rating and nomination security and improves reliability for existing users.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-31

Coffee Quest now makes it easier to discover and assess independent cafes with improved Top Rated location scopes, refreshed venue details, pull-to-refresh, a clearer grouped My List, and stronger protection for ratings, nominations, and place reports.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-25
