This app is the worst and will not ever recommend Cogeco to anyone. Waste of money and time and space. Cogeco refuses to address this area of their service which is infuriating and leaves their subscribers very upset. Leaving Cogeco over this. If you are a Cogeco subscriber I urge you to press Cogeco for an improvement or just leave. ### 1/5 — Cogeco does not care!! *2023-01-03, version 4.8.6* I don’t know why I am even writing this review, clearly Cogeco does not care about their customers or the fact that their app (that everyone desperately wants to work) does not work! When I first got the app, years ago, it was great but now it is so frustrating to either have the app say I need to be connected to my network to download when I am sitting IN my own living room!!! Or says it is having trouble connecting to the server, I also get streaming not permitted messages!! It has not worked at all in over a month and before that it was intermittent. Extremely frustrating. I talked to a Cogeco tech a few days ago, and they claim it was either my modem or because I need to update my app and that they’ve had no other customer complaints! Not true! All of the comments here are complaining the app doesn’t work. Also, I have a brand new modem and 2 of the iPads here are brand new, with recently downloaded and/or updated apps…none of them have a working app either! The only conclusion is that Cogeco clearly does not care about their customers or whether or not the app works!! I do not understand why updating the app, deletes EVERYTHING I’ve already downloaded!!! No other app deletes everything you’ve done just to update! It’s ridiculous and extremely annoying! There’s some things I downloaded that I wanted to keep and now I’m going to lose all of it! ### 1/5 — This is CRAP *2022-12-07, version 4.8.6* All I want to do is watch a show on my phone! Bravo Cogéco. Pour moi, cette application fait exactement ce qu’elle est sensée faire. Très conviviale, facile et simple, autant sur iPhone que sur iPad. Même à distance on peut tout faire. Je ne comprends pas les commentaires négatifs. Pour ma part tout fonctionne vraiment très bien et j’adore l’application. Seul bémol, il est impossible de regarder les enregistrements à l’extérieur du Canada. My TiVo mini never works, and now when I try to stream shows on my iPad it never works! I’ve talked with some friends and all said they never have issues with Rogers. For the amount our monthly bill is, Cogeco may not be worth it any longer. It’s as though it was designed by a pure developer and the UX team came in at the dnd and tried to stitch it all together. It’s also full of bugs and most are stability issues (persistence will get you past the issues or reinstalling the app will fix). Isn’t Cogeco tired of support calls on the app?
