### 2/5 — Please save filters

*2026-02-26*

The app is functional enough to be workable, but functionality like persistent filters have apparently been elusive. Edit: I seem to have gotten a response about different users' preferences. *This is my point*. Allow ME to decide if filters are "sticky" as such functionality is either useful or benign to EVERYONE. Edit: another update; another update that did not include this simple functionality. This app is all about interface; nothing more.

**Developer response:** Updated Response March 2, 2026
Tony_718, thank you for your updated comments, as you can see, we have released updates specific to the filtering functionality as you requested. We would welcome additional feedback from you as an end-user. Please reach out to us directly at support@cognisent.io so you we can schedule a call.

Original Response Oct 20, 2025
Thank you for sharing the feedback. Currently, the app is designed not to save filters between sessions so users always see up-to-date data when reopening the app. This approach has benefits for many users, but we recognize that it may not fit everyone's workflow.  We truly appreciate your input and will consider it as we evaluate future changes during retheming.

### 1/5 — Now even worse

*2024-12-12, version 1.35*

New update. Now even worse. Totally unusable. How is this company even in business?

### 1/5 — Notification Issues on iOS 18.1.1

*2024-12-04*

Dear Dev Team,

Many users, including myself, are experiencing issues with notifications in the app while running the latest iOS version (18.1.1).

Here’s a potential approach to help diagnose and resolve the issue:
•Use your development tools to emulate both a working and broken version of notifications
•Enable debugging and compare the logs. I’ve noticed issues on devices with iPhone 16 architecture, which might provide a clue.

Additionally, I’ve observed the following behavior that might be helpful in identifying the problem:
•Manually disabling notifications in the iOS settings does not trigger any prompt within the app to re-enable them.
•Even after navigating to the app’s notification settings, there’s no indication or guidance to restore notifications, suggesting there might be an issue with how notifications are implemented.

I hope this information is helpful.

### 1/5 — Terrible.

*2024-11-19, version 1.34*

This app is horrendous. Disservice to safe patient care.

### 1/5 — Umm, no

*2024-11-11, version 1.33*

If you’re looking for a call service and they use this app, MOVE ON! It’s too late for us, but it’s not too late for you.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2024-11-08*

If I could give this zero stars, I would. We were forced to use this app for our on-call process. It repeatedly signs you out. It often tells me the password that I tried to enter is incorrect(even though I am using the same one as always). It is such an impediment to actually delivering care to patients. I cannot say enough bad things about this. I don’t know who is paying off our system to get them to use this app, but it is absolutely atrocious. We would be better off having carrier pigeons try to deliver messages to us in the middle of the night. if you are a physician, and you have any control over it, please do not fall for using this app. I promise you you will regret it.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2024-09-20*

Issues with alert status notification resetting constantly causing silent alerts to occur if an alert type has not been selected when resest randomly happens. This will reflect poorly on your company that uses this when it really is out of your control.

### 1/5 — Works against you when doing your job

*2024-06-07, version 1.27*

Had another rough night with this app. Makes on call harder because the app does not work often, does not notify of call, freezes. Would not recommend.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2024-04-19, version 1.24*

This app is the worst!! Completely useless and does not deliver any of the features that it says it does. The older version was infinitely better

### 1/5 — Complete failure as an app

*2024-03-24, version 1.22*

Terrible application for being so mission critical. Does not reliably load. Does not reliably notify. I fear that this application tremendously increases my liability as an on call provider and puts patients in danger due to delayed notification

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2024-03-16*

Required to use this for work. The notifications from a text message does not link to the app. The app usually does not open on the first attempt and the phone numbers linked does not open to actually be able to call the number back.

### 1/5 — Get some extra malpractice coverage.

*2024-03-13*

Currently, this app logs you out automatically. Really nice if you are on call for a few days. You have to sign back in to turn the pager back on…. Hopefully no patients were bleeding to death during this time.
Unfortunately had some patients who were actively bleeding to death and did not get notified.
Had to sign back on to find these pages.

### 1/5 — Fonctionne mal avec apple

*2024-03-05*

La version 1 fonctionnait tres bien , mais version 2 un vrai cauchemard.

### 1/5 — This app is an active detriment to doing my job

*2024-02-17*

The combination of this app not notifying anyone when a call comes in as well as not being well maintained in the slightest, is truly a breathtakingly bad combination. Yet somehow this isn’t even the worst part about using this app, that would fall to the utter incompetency of the answering service I have the misery of interacting with. There was an occasion where a call to remove a decedent came in, but due to the answering services repeated errors, nobody was notified for over 8 hours. Let me repeat, for 8 hours a body remained in its place of passing, which was by pure luck a hospital, and the call while put into the system, sent out no notifications until over 8 hours had passed, upon which a coworker of mine happened to check the app on a whim and discovered that a call had come in. The absolute lack of response to any situational problem renders this app and those who work for it not just useless, but an active hinderance to myself and my coworkers doing our job in a timely and professional manner.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — On call

*2026-03-14*

Since the app has updated I have been unable to change our on call schedule. When I go to the more screen it’s just blank. I have restarted my phone, deleted and redownloaded the app twice and nothing has fixed it. When I try to submit something to customer service nothing goes through. Don’t know how to fix this.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about this experience you described. We’d like to better understand what you are experiencing and would value the chance to turn this around for you. Please reach out to us directly at 800-516-5379 or support@cognisent.io so we can work to improve your experience.

### 1/5 — ASD is worth the money

*2026-02-05*

They finally got notifications to work which was a problem. I’m sure all the answering service people are great and sweet but the app is horrible. There’s no transcript, no way to listen to first call messages, more than half the time information is wrong, they will have it listed as church is calling when it’s really cemetery and have limited notes so you barley know what you’re calling back for it makes us look unprofessional. If they aren’t going to give better in depth notes they need to give us the ability to listen to the calls ourselves or at least have a transcript so we can be prepared before calling. The app itself is not visually appealing for one but also unorganized. Sorry but the extra pretty penny is worth it to spend on ASD if you care about your business and professionalism. I’d rather take all the calls myself at this point than having to stress out because we never get accurate or all the needed information.

**Developer response:** We understand how important compassionate and seamless service is to the families you support, and that standard matters deeply to us as well. Reliability, professionalism, and care are the foundation of our work.

We are committed to ensuring every team feels confident and fully supported in using our platform from implementation onward. We welcome the opportunity to connect directly and provide personalized support and training as we have done for several of your colleagues to their satisfaction.

We value our partnership and remain dedicated to your success.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-11-18*

Any rating more than 1 star, likely written by someone who has rarely if ever used the app. I also agree with GU Doc. Was on call last night and horrible call night in part due to the app. Randomly logs me out having to rely on the back up calls from answering service more then the app. This resulted in many delayed call backs to hospital and unit. The app seems not ready for its serious responsibilities.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about this experience you described and understand how important reliable communication is during on call situations. Because your review was submitted anonymously, we’re unable to follow up directly. Our team has reviewed system performance during the timeframe mentioned, and we did not identify any log out events affecting users. We’d like to learn more about what you experienced and ensure your setup is working as intended. If you’re willing, please contact our support team with more details of the issue so we can investigate further and provide assistance. We remain committed to delivering a dependable tool for our clinical partners, and we appreciate your help in improving the experience for everyone.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2025-04-13, version 1.139*

Still unreliable. Just checked, “no messages.” Picked up iPad, found messages I hadn’t seen. Logged out and back on and found them on phone

This software is terribly buggy and unreliable. Wouldn’t use it for important things unless forced to

### 1/5 — The opposite of customer service

*2025-03-31*

This app is ridiculously difficult. I cannot even log in any more and this “communication” app has no ability to allow users to easily communicate with them. I need this app to avoid continuous escalations but I have no idea how to resolve this and no idea how to get help except this review. And yes I did delete and reinstall and check for updates.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry to hear you are having issue with the app. It sounds like there may be something happening in the setup. We’d love to help make sure your experience is as smooth as possible Please contact our support team support@cognisent.io so we can assist. There are a few methods within the app to contact customer service, and we would like to ensue that you are provided with the necessary review to access these. We’d love to hear from you so we can resolve this quickly and get you on track. Thank you for your support and patience.

### 1/5 — Update failure.

*2025-03-01, version 1.41*

Recent update causes app to no longer work. iPhone 14Pro running iOS 18.3.1. This is a physician’s answering service tool. How is having app failures a permissible thing. Must work and work every time.

### 1/5 — The definition of inefficiency

*2025-02-15*

I wish I could be in the room when discussion takes place about moving from a human based, very purposeful answering service for medical groups to this abomination. I’m not sure what it saves, but it’s definitely not time, energy, and sanity. It’s 2025, why can’t we just use our biometrics to log into apps? Why do we have to reset our password every time we log into this? Not to worry, though, you will get multiple escalation alert alerts while you are trying to reset your password.

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback. We can certainly read your frustration in your experience, and would like to connect with you so that our team can better support you in resolve challenges you are experiencing . Resetting your password every time you login is not part of the app workflow. We do have built in security features that require a user to validate their login session every 30 day with a login. Biometrics in the app works as a additional layer of security for the app, not as a bypass for the login. Our goal is to balance security and usability, and we continuously evaluate ways to improve the experience. Please reach out to our support team, we are here to help.

### 1/5 — Messages get lost

*2025-01-25*

App was working ok and this week after receiving an alert, and you click on it, the message is gone! You have to look back under “7 days” to find the message, because it is not listed under “today”. Also the homepage icon still shows that the message was unchecked although the message was open and checked. Please fix asap. Very frustrating.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like some troubleshooting may be the best next step to support you. Please reach out to your customer service team so they can walk through the steps with you to ensure that everything is working as expected. We appreciate your time and look forward to assisting you.

### 1/5 — This app is terrible!

*2025-01-15*

Sometimes it works for a couple hours, most of the time it does not. The call service will call me before I even get a text. Then I will inevitably get hung up on when they are trying to connect me to whoever called. If you do get a notification, it will be silent, even if your volume is all the way up…..be prepared to be disappointed .

**Developer response:** Jamie, we’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you brining this to our attention.  Reliable service is a top priority and what you are describing is not the experience we want for our users. While we are unable to locate your account with the information provided, we’d love the opportunity to troubleshoot these issues with you. Please reach out to your customer service team as we can work to resolve this as quickly as possible.

### 1/5 — Worst part about being on call

*2024-12-12, version 1.35*

App rarely works well. Doesn’t send push notifications, message won’t fully load. Call service doesn’t relay all the pertinent information. Like, a phone number to call back.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Event Answering Service

*2025-11-26*

We run a Christmas Event and we love this service for taking calls for our event.

Our onboarding specialist was extremely helpful and I feel went out of her way to help us save money. The app itself is easy to understand. I’m struggling with the app sending me a notification if there is an escalation, but it could be something I’m doing wrong.

The responsiveness of our account manager, “Ivana” alone gives this service 5 stars.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your 5 star review. We are thrilled you’re loving the service and onboarding support. We’ll connect with you to sort out the  notifications so everything works smoothly for your event. We’re excited to support your Christmas event. Thank you for choosing us.

### 5/5 — New App

*2024-08-09*

This app has been great for my team! We get the alerts immediately and all of the information we requested. I also like the transparency with usage. I am able to track how many minutes we have used.

### 5/5 — New Service required

*2023-03-04, version 1.14*

As a physician I will need to search for a new service as this APP is reliably unreliable.
Missed a call in middle of night for a child with 104 as my tone setting was changed to single tone.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2023-02-02, version 1.14*

Love this app, it makes receiving my messages and communicating with coworkers way easier.

### 5/5 — This app is great!

*2023-02-01, version 1.14*

The app is so easy to use and allows me to quickly review my messages after hours, I can even call them back directly from app or have a group chat with my coworkers as needed to discuss messages. I cannot say enough good things, try it and I promise it will make your on call life much easier!

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2023-01-27, version 1.13*

The new version has so many additional features than the other one, and I love that I get all of my customer’s information on my phone. I don’t ever have to call my call center to get messages. The upgrade from the other version is an improvement..it took some getting used to because it’s laid out differently, but I was able to navigate it without a problem and I find it to be very user friendly and convenient.

### 3/5 — Apple Watch

*2026-05-25*

Overall I appreciate the functionality of this app. One major problem for me is that it does not give an audible alert when I am wearing my apple watch. Not even a vibration. Is there a way to get that fixed?
I think this app would be rated 5 if it was apple watch compatible.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you’re enjoying the app. Apple watch notifications are currently being evaluated by our team, and we’re exploring ways to improve the experience for wearable device users. We appreciate your suggestion and support as we continue to enhance the app.

### 3/5 — Alert fatigue

*2026-04-24*

I use this app when I am on call for my medical group, generally works well, but it keeps telling me that I have an unread message when there are none. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, The alert remains despite no unread messages.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating repeated alerts can be, especially when you are on call. What you’re describing can sometimes be related to settings within the app, such as Secure Chat or other messaging features that may generate notifications, even though there aren’t visible unread messages in your main inbox; or it may include messages that have been read but not cleared in the app. We’d really like to help get this resolved for you. Please reach out to us directly at 800-516-5379 or support@cognisent.io so we can troubleshoot with you and review your notification settings in more detail. With a bit more information, we can pinpoint what’s causing the alert and get things working again.

### 3/5 — Please save filters

*2026-01-30*

The app is functional enough to be workable, but functionality like persistent filters have apparently been elusive. Edit: I seem to have gotten a response about different users' preferences. *This is my point*. Allow ME to decide if filters stay as such functionality is either useful or benign to EVERYONE.

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing the feedback. Currently, the app is designed not to save filters between sessions so users always see up-to-date data when reopening the app. This approach has benefits for many users, but we recognize that it may not fit everyone's workflow.  We truly appreciate your input and will consider it as we evaluate future changes during retheming.
