No reason to download episode 3 at this point. ### 4/5 — Amazing, except for some glitches *2020-05-05, version 4.1* Amazing amazing amazing story with raw, dark, gory details, that had me on the edge of my seat the ENTIRE TIME!!! The only thing reason it is missing one star is because there are a few glitches throughout (eg. images missing, there was one puzzle that solved itself, certain things that only worked in a particular restricted order). Like pulling teeth waiting for characters to move around and talk, I don't have that kind of time or patience. Let the user skip cutscenes and the forced mechanical walking from A to B at least. ### 2/5 — Subtitle grievance *2015-08-25, version 3* I really enjoyed the new Gabriel Knight, so had good hopes for Cognition. I played the lite version first and was happy enough to pay for the full version - so disappointed. It is very slow and the subtitles don't work properly. I have a small child and the only time I get to myself to relax is when he is asleep so I can't use audio. I am straining my eyes trying to see the tiny print. What happened to the comic book font from the lite version? ### 5/5 — Spannend *2015-04-19* Ich fand das Spiel toll und hab mir gerade Episode 2 gekauft. Der Anfang (auch die Lightversion) hatte mich zunächst abgeschreckt, da es mir zu horrormäßig war, aber das legt sich dann und es ist ein wirklich tolles unterhaltsames Point and Click Adventurespiel. I've never experienced much in the way of crashes. There's mystery, in-game puzzles and interesting characters to make up a great adventure game. Have to go back and redo things. Unable to finish game as Le Pendu statue is assembled but the game won’t progress. Taken steps as suggested in forums but to no avail. Not happy! ### 1/5 — Very glitchy *2019-04-10, version 4.1* For the love of god, don’t put the antique together until you have all the pieces. I’ve got a glitch I now cannot finish the game because of. At least not without going back nearly to the start. Also the motions are clunky and you can’t skip through the dialogue because even if the subtitles go, the characters go through all the animations. Spent hours trying to figure out why tape recorder quest is not activating (Terrence won't help and can't call Morgue due to needing Terrence's help). Combed walkthroughs, presented items to all characters over and over and it is just stuck. No matter how much or how little $ paid, game should work and no, Phoenix, I don't want to create an account, just to see if your site might help me. I'm done. I'm ready to go to the dentist at this point. ### 1/5 — Was really looking forward to this app. *2016-02-12* Somewhere and sometime it may live up to its better reviews but I will never know. I won't be playing it. It is not a user-friendly game. It does not re-orient on IPad Air 2 and the print on the dialogue at the bottom of the screen is so incredibly small that by the time you find and read it, you have moved on to another screen. Great story, really cool visual style, 3 dimensional characters, great music and voice acting. The controls work great on a mobile screen, the puzzles are quite intuitive, and the hint system is good. The only reasons why you shouldn’t buy it rare if you don’t like point and click adventure games, or if you don’t like dark & violet content. Otherwise, buy it now! BUT... This game... Is the best game I've ever played. From the story, to the characters, to the acting! It actually doesn't sound like their lines are being read from a script! They bring true emotions to life. It's incredible! I... Can't even get over how good this game is. I've been stuck playing lame games, by large companies, ( one horrid company in particular ) that just pump out their version of "adventure" games, today, that's just crap crap crap! I'm so tired of "Hidden object adventure"s! Phoenix Online Studios.... Thank you! For opening up a company that understands what quality truly is. It's been too long since a company, such and yourselves, has been shared with the public! Side note: couldn't get game to work on my ipad 2. But it works perfectly on iPad Air.
