For instance xirr is not refreshing (it’s not 2013 where bad ux can be tolerated), nav updates are very slow and you have to rely on 3rd party aggregators like indmoney or PowerUp (they refresh directly from MF central). For billion dollar organisations, it’s expected to at least have a better app. **Developer response:** Hi, we’re really sorry for the inconvenience caused. This is due to a delay in reporting fund transactions from the payment aggregator to the Indian Clearing Corporation (ICCL) across all platforms. The NAV applicability is determined by the exchange based on the date ICCL receives the funds. If you’ve already raised a ticket, please share the ticket number so we can follow up. ### 2/5 — Improvements needed *2026-02-09* Hi, overall its a good app. But it is missing key features like mutual funds overlap, instant NAV updates, check rolling returns, standard deviation, up/down side capture and many more. I understand the philosophy to keep the product as minimalist but there are now plethora of funds to choose from and all above features help to make a good decision. Thanks for your feedback. ### 2/5 — App issues *2025-11-26* I’ve been facing several recurring issues on the Coin app — for example, mutual fund orders show as Completed but the updated investment amount takes 2–3 days to reflect in the Total Investments section. This has happened multiple times and makes it difficult to track my portfolio accurately. It would be great if the Coin app received more frequent updates and fixes, similar to what you already do for Kite. I understand that mutual funds are long-term investments and short-term glitches may not affect returns, but they do impact user experience. Now I dont for last few months only an email which is easy to miss and causing pending payments ### 2/5 — Poor chart not showing return % *2025-05-19, version 2.7.5* I can say that only one app coin is very poor in group of zerodha, As per their standard of data and clarity coin app and user facility are poor Chart is very poor without data Not showing return for selected period of time ### 3/5 — SIP Intimation and Payments *2025-04-02, version 2.7.4* There’s a rule, don’t fix what’s not broken. Why did we have to make so many changes to how upcoming SIPs are highlighted and payment is made ? Please go back to what it was 6 months back. But by the time coin not supports NPS opened NPS to other vendor but I want to switch to coin now as it’s supports NPS. I’m trying for a long while but still it’s not supports for existing user. I want you to introduce a separate wallet for MF investments just like in Kite. If not feasible, link Zerodha funds to coin. This will avoid paying for MF thro payment methods. The app found no accounts linked to that number, which is fair, but I have no way to map a new number for UPI payment. We'll ensure to look into it with the utmost priority. ### 1/5 — The Most User-Unfriendly App on the Planet *2025-10-10* I’ve genuinely never encountered an app as confusing, disorganized, and downright frustrating as Coin. You have absolutely no clue what’s going on at any point — the interface is a total mess, the navigation makes zero sense, and the entire experience feels like it was designed to confuse users rather than help them. After struggling with it far too long, I’ve decided to stop using Coin altogether. Easily the most horrible app experience I’ve ever had. ### 1/5 — No option of see bank out in which settlement amount is credited! *2025-05-30, version 2.7.5* To invest in mutual fund and add bank account is lengthy process. While selling of mutual fund there is no option to see where the my funds are to be credited and not option to see the actual status of fund transfer. ### 1/5 — App not working on mobile data *2025-03-21, version 2.7.3* App is not working on mobile data but working on wifi. My Kite app works on mobile data but coin app doesn’t. App gets stuck on app launch, and says no internet connection. If launched via wifi and home page is visible then app starts working on mobile data as well. It seems some check on mobile data on app launch ### 1/5 — App needs to be reworked on. *2025-03-20, version 2.7.3* App is not opening even after making updates and reinstalling. Developers need to look into the same. Every time I open it says your internet connection is not working. Not able to fetch data. Kite is working fine. ### 1/5 — Arrogant people, don’t take feedback *2025-02-04* While all their peers have merged mutual funds with their main app, zerodha wont because they don’t want a super app! This app is so basic and so limited features: - no option for creating daily SIP - no option to sort on XIRR - no option to model gains or STCG/LTCG! - customers don’t mean anything to them as they are discount brokers!! - Give any suggestion to them and they are like “we are the largest broker, so take what you get and shut up!” - Separate app for mutual funds, no other broker does that! If you ask why, their answer is same as above! - Unjustified charges! Delivery trades are free but they charge for buy back orders, which are delivery orders! Similarly if you apply for a buy offer of a company, they charge even if the order is not accepted! If you ask why, the answer is again same as above! - The DP charge is 300/- per annum, and they say that it’s to be charged quarterly like any other broker! But they charge it every 90 days, in their calculations 90 days * 4 = 1 year! Can you provide us your customer ID at https://support.zerodha.com so that we can reach out? ### 1/5 — Unresolved UI Issue: Ignored Suggestion for Chart Margins *2024-09-20* They always ignore our suggestions for the app. I suggested adding some margins between the start and end of the chart so that it would allow us to easily view the purchase price. Right now, we can’t click it because there’s no space between the display edge and the chart. I suggested this change a long time ago, but it still hasn’t been implemented, and they marked my ticket as resolved. **Developer response:** Hi Paras, we're sorry to hear about your expeirence. Please provide us with your ticket number so we can check this. ### 1/5 — SIP missing and Pathetic support *2024-07-25, version 2.5.17* I have missed scheduled SIPs not once but five times, and when I pointed this out, support claimed it was due to a technical issue. Who will cover the opportunity cost? Your support team didn't even have the courtesy to inform us of this issue. If we hadn't done our own reconciliation and relied solely on you, it could have been a significant risk. ### 1/5 — Lack of leading funds *2024-07-19, version 2.5.17* I'm extremely disappointed with there portal. The absence of leading funds is unacceptable, especially when compared to other brokers who offer a wide range of investment options. If you search for NASDAQ there is only 1 funds. Pls include this in future updates. Suppose i have 3-5 funds what is overall profit or gain on. A single day that is missing which is there on other platforms. Thanks for your feedback. ### 5/5 — Account suspension issue *2026-04-22* I am extremely disappointed with Instagram’s automated moderation system. My account was permanently banned for no reason, despite zero suspicious activity on my part. I have gone through the appeal process more than 10-15 times, including multiple video verifications and uploading my original, valid government documents. Even though my identity is verified and my documents are authentic, the system keeps suspending my account repeatedly. It feels like a technical glitch in their AI that no human is bothered to fix. It is unacceptable that a platform this large can lock a user out indefinitely without providing a specific reason or a way to talk to actual support. I have done everything requested to prove I am a real person, yet the app continues to fail me.
