This could be a real great tool, but it desperately needs some love from the dev ### 2/5 — Ok but Use with caution. *2021-02-08, version 3.0.16* I’ve used this app for a few years now. It’s ok for basic crypto tracking BUT Since the latest iOS update, every time I open the app, I get an iOS notification telling me that the app has pasted from the last thing I copied. Not sure why the developer is copying the contents of user’s clipboard’s but beware of having anything sensitive in your clipboard before opening the app. ### 4/5 — Works great but latest version drains battery *2018-06-03, version 3.0.2* Before version 3 this was near perfect. It’s now better, but it’s eating through my battery with the new background updates. Disabling the background updates and the app goes back to using battery only when needed. ### 3/5 — Good, but there is a better alternative *2018-05-27, version 3.0.2* Not a bad crypto portfolio, but having tried nearly every single one in the App Store, I have to recommend “Coin Stats - Crypto Portfolio” as by far the best (combining a portfolio with a market cap list and crypto charts for 491 alt coins, plus frequent news articles). This app is more streamlined as only a portfolio and is, ultimately, less useful. ### 1/5 — Massive shame *2018-05-21, version 3.0.1* This app was amazing, until it deleted my entire portfolio when I updated the app. My only record of costs, my mistake, but this shouldn’t have happened Response to dev - already gone I’m afraid, the perils of improper beta testing. There are plenty others out there. Sorry ### 3/5 — Once great app trashed *2018-05-20, version 3.0.1* Was a really good, easy to use, reliable app which has just been loaded with bugs with the latest update. Individual coin values now default to $, even if you’ve chosen £ as your chosen currency and portfolio total value is utterly useless with fluctuations of up to 30%. It seems that if you view a coin and go back to the total, it calculates the total in $ value but shows £... who knows? Disappointing as I loved this app. ### 2/5 — Rubbish with £ *2018-05-19, version 3.0.1* New UI looks good but terrible update since all numbers are in dollars instead of British pound and screwed up my portfolio! Very disappointing. ### 1/5 — You can’t edit past cost *2018-04-07, version 2.1.2* If you remove a coin from your portfolio and then try to add it again later, the application assumes you still have your position, you can’t override this, and so if you screw up and want to edit there’s basically no way to do that, nor can you reset and start over. This app had so much potential, but it’s missing some very key functionality. Seems the developer of this app doesn’t have the same principles as most in the crypto community do. Come on people, get it together already. ### 1/5 — Misleading in-app purchases and broken update *2021-05-22, version 5.0.0* The only reason I am writing this as a review is because the new update barely works and even the “feedback” button is broken. Maybe the developer will see this. 1) the News tab no longer works. It just takes you to a blank screen 2) even in writing this review I had to keep closing and reopening the app for the keyboard to work. 3) I purchased the “historical data” add-on for $6. This is information you can find on other apps for free, but here’s the kicker....even though you click on a button that says “all” historical data, it only displays back to 2018! That’s just strait-up false advertising and should be fixed. I actually thought this wasn’t allowed by Apple. Either way, I’m not gonna pay $2 for dark mode and Face ID. Just what I needed. ### 5/5 — Best Crypto Portfolio Tracker out there *2019-12-12, version 3.0.14* I’ve been using CoinFolio to track my portfolio for a few years now and it’s the best one out there by far. Over the last week, my balances were not refreshing. I submitted a support inquiry and received immediate feedback from the owner/developer on exactly what was going on. He asked me to be patient as he fixed the issue and awaited IOS approval. In the meantime I tried out 3-4 other apps and they all paled in comparison.
