Thought maybe it was filling an account to use to buy drinks. Nope. When I bought the drinks, it charged me separately for those. The instructions are extremely unclear and the process is counterintuitive. Whoever came up with this idea should be repositioned into an area that fits their strengths because this is not it. This is my first ever App Store review, but I felt strongly enough about how bad this experience was that I needed to share. ### 1/5 — Broken app and broken machines *2025-05-11* Tried to redeem my first free drink TWICE, and it still tried to charge me the full price for both. One went through but the other one I blocked the charge because it should have given me my free drink the first time and still charged me. Did the dumb survey for 2 rewards points but nothing changed. Pathetic excuse for a vending machine and I won’t be surprised when people start robbing them so easily. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-04-19, version 5.1.0* Promises a free drink for downloading app, then forces you to pay $6 for “free” drink ### 1/5 — First beverage free but pay first? *2025-04-13* Big bold advertising on the cooler says “download the app and first beverage is free”. After downloading the app the only way to get a “free” $4 beverage is to charge $6 on your credit card or Apple Pay first. Don’t use this app, complete scam. ### 1/5 — Never get this app or buy a drink from it *2025-02-25* So the app said u can get a free drink and I bought one instead since it wouldn’t let me get it. Once I bought it it took away 10 dollars from my card, ima sue if I don’t get my money back. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous *2025-02-25* Forced to use this because I’m stranded at the airport in the early morning hours and its the only way to get water. Waste 10 minutes for something that should only take 30 seconds (getting water from a vending machine) Only exists to farm data. I don’t even drink Coke. Shouldve expected something redundant and scummy like this from a company that makes AI advertisements. There is no option to get a free drink. I didn’t get it free, and I didn’t even get it for the listed price of $4; I was charged $6 on my card. That is just flat out theft and deceitful. So, I spent $9 for a 'free' soda. There's no way to get a refund for the app or the soda. Expensive lesson learned. This is the worst thing ever made. The reason you have to force an app onto people at a vending machine, is because no one would want to given the choice to not.
