Where was this years ago?!? Need to modernize the rest of the UI. Doing better. ❤️ Overall it’s a pretty good player with an even better feature set for sound effects. It suffers in two major areas: 1. There is no in-line buffer. Audio files are sourced directly and are not processed, so usually when you start playing a song you will have a lot of choppiness and then will have to pause and play again. This causes distortion in audio and also causes the app to occasionally crash. 2. The UI is understandable and simple, but cheap. It feels like the buttons and canvas were thrown together very quickly without a lot of thought to size, shape or color/contrast. Overall it’s a fun toy if you’re using it for sound effects and has an easy list of access for existing music on your phone. If the creator can fix some of these, it will be worth the price tag but at present it is probably worth a third of what is being charged. STEM: still some bugs to work out. First of all, it is not staying turned off after I turn it off, I purchased it. Going into some of the functions it is not in English so I can't read it. Very resource intensive on the phone, processor is getting hot and it's draining a lot of battery. Need the function to memorize whether it was turned on or off and not default on when entering the screen after purchasing. ### 4/5 — BETTER NOW. *2026-08-11* Edit: Good work on the new FX! Every time I click on EQ+Spectrum Analyzer, it takes me to DSP again, which I never wanted first place. Developer's website is disabled. I'm still working out the play list. Not so intuitive. Album art also needs to be centred on the Apple watch. Also going into the song list to select a song doesn't work. You have to go to the artist's album and then select the song. Only few things would make it the greatest: At the bottom of the player the options tabs are easily accidentally touched and would be better if that was not even on the front screen but in the settings. Other thing is the spectrum analyser on the front screen is easily accidentally touched and therefore changes the preferred analyser display, that also should be in the settings screen. Last thing is that when the phone is turned sideways it should orientate in landscape thus giving it a larger Equalizer analyser view. Truly a game changing audiophile experience and perfectly genius! This is the only app that lets you fully take control of the way your music sounds to recreate the sound of live stages with extremely realistic reverb effects. From the echoing of an arena, to the warm resonance of a club or theatre. Nothing else even comes close to this app, the closest thing was HeadQuake but the developer stopped making updates for it to be compatible with iOS 11. Please keep this app up to date as you have been. So glad I found this app, I truly cherish it.
