I’ve been using the original Cold Read app but the addition of AI voices is what got me to purchase this thinking it would allow the same customization of building in pauses and cues. This has NONE of that and even more disappointing are the voices themselves. To use as a video audition would be very flat. A trial period would have been preferred. Not recommended.

Super low budget sounding AI reader options. They also can’t pronounce complicated word despite accurate transcriptions. Guess that’s why there’s no free trial.

You remove the video capabilities from the platform and forcing individuals to upgrade and pay a monthly subscription fee. That’s ridiculous. Now I have to go and find another platform that does the same thing you do and you lose out from an individual OK fine not a problem you’re too greedy.

Boo.  Not user friendly.  No support and no sign in on ipad. Only my iphone.  No answers.  Boo.

Your scripts now sync automatically and securely across all your devices, no sign-in required. Simply update the app on iPhone and your iPad should have everything ready to go. The audio keeps repeating the same line over and over again!  Not functional.

### 2/5 — Better than Nothing I guess.

Where do I begin… great idea but obviously there is so bugs to work out. I am a 40 year acting and VO character talent who does a lot of auditions ) today alone 8. I get BOOKED! I was looking for a smart way to avoid costly friends and cumbersome tech solutions, still looking for the perfect system. This is good only because there is nothing else close and I’ve tried a few over my career. This one has high hope but is lacking in key deliverables. Maybe in upgrades the AI voices sounds leveling will not drown out the Actors voice nor flips the video upside down or backwards and cause many re-records for without an image lock when on horizontal it flips the video upside down and/or backwards. 
Some other minor upgrade requests are suggested. I got close to asking for a refund because of the price . Overall a 6 out 10, (Never use 7 when comparing) however with a few tweaks, 10 or 10. Good job in the effort, now go take action on the bugs and get my 10 !

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work, Won’t Hear Me Speak

I was excited to try this! But literally the first line I have to read myself, the app isn’t hearing me. I’ve toyed with it and toyed with it to no avail. There’s also no free trial option so once you’re bought in, you’re locked in only to find out the app doesn’t even work. There’s no help option in the app either. No way to contact support.

You can actually try the app completely free without subscribing - the first 5 lines are available at no cost to test all features. This lets you ensure everything works properly before making any purchase decision.
Regarding the voice recognition issue, please make sure you're pronouncing the last two cue words of each line clearly, as the app needs to hear these specific words to advance to the next line. This helps maintain natural reading flow.
