Sending it to the client who hired you keeps you out of the paperwork entirely. Your crew's treasury takes a share and spreads the exposure. You see what each one pays and what it costs you before you commit to anything. An access log you leave behind will follow you home. For as long as a machine somewhere still holds your address, your heat stops cooling off, and the Firewall screen keeps a list of every one of them. You can go back and scrub the entry yourself, or let the identity burn and start again with your tools, your reputation and your name still intact. There is a soundtrack now. A ping for each relay as the route builds, a low room tone while you work, and the music shifts the moment the last layer falls away. Music and effects have separate volume controls, so you can keep the alarms without the score. Elsewhere in this release: personnel records open as photographed dossiers you can edit a field at a time, servers browse as an icon desktop rather than a list of filenames, crews carry their own emblems, raids are matched by level so newer operators face fair opponents, and the economy and trace timings have been rebalanced from top to bottom. ### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-14 THE WIRE GOT MEANER — AND FAIRER. BOUNTY BOARD Put a price on a rival's head. Escrow credits, and the next operator to crack that subnet collects the whole pot on top of whatever they skim. Every grudge is now a job posting someone else can take. PICK A SIDE At level 3 you can pledge to a faction. NULLSEKT says the wire owes you nothing — take it. WIREWATCH says someone has to keep it honest. Your flag flies on your profile, and both sides fight for control of the season leaderboard. ATTACK REPLAYS "Watch replay" now does what it promised. See the break-in on your subnet play back move by move — which wall they cracked, what they bypassed, the moment they went for your credits, and whether your defenses caught them. RAIDS NOW RESPECT YOUR ROUTE The big one. Your relay bounce chain finally slows the trace during raids, exactly as it does on regular jobs. If you've invested in relays, raiding just got dramatically more survivable. BRING SOMEONE IN Your operator handle is your invite code. Anyone who redeems it gets 1,500 credits — and so do you. When they reach level 3, you both get 5,000 more. SHARE THE RUN Post your operator dossier or a clean exit as a proper image card, straight from your profile.
