Absolutely a money grab and completely out of pocket to be asking 5.99$ to save my own photos that I put together in a basic layout. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for trying our app. You can actually use Collageable for free unless you want to get access to the Premium features. There's a great choice of collage layouts, templates, stickers and other editing features available in the basic version. If there is no lock, it's free, and if a subscription screen pops up, you can just close it by tapping X at the top of the screen. If you need help accessing the free features, feel free to reach out to collageable@irontech.mobi ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2026-08-30, version 3.22.1* You can’t even remove the watermark by watching a ad because it’s either broken or was intentionally broken and just says “loading…” but never loads no matter what I do or how long I wait. It’s like an illusion to make you think you have a choice but you actually don’t. I still miss the multiple versions of formatting the old site provided (multiple stacks of individually picture squares in a multitude of permutations (which I’m sure a lot of people never used). I also wish they’d bring back the numeric shapes to place pictures inside, but all in all, many of the changes have been efficiently streamlined. I just don’t create “card” for displaying my pictures, which seems to be the main shift in their business model. I just hope Collageable will keep what brought them to the forefront, in my opinion anyway. Collaging pictures in various ways (textures, stacks, colored backgrounds, effects, and added object placements that are on top of one’s created collage… Some pretty cool effects, tbqf!
