If I was to nitpick and ask for a couple things, it would be this. Schedule harder out of conference games for those teams who have greater scoring capacity. Winning by 60 points is no fun. I have also had my entire team on as first and second team in our conference. This is totally unrealistic and the one thing that I think needs to be changed. Also, When I am making multiple millions as a salary and there is very little to compete for other team offers, why when would I change teams? Change that. Lastly, Why would I ever practice on my own when I get virtual success on most sim practice. Is there that much of a difference when you win the practice. Rather than random things to practice on, can I pick what it is? How could I be #1 in ZPI and undefeated and not rank #1? Also, can you make a feature of five star teams and possibly have tournaments during the season? Lastly, if I win in the last shot of 3 ball, it still says I lose. The only problem is that lately when I put recruiting points on players, when I move on to the next player the points I put on, go away. Hopefully the game gets fixed! ### 3/5 — Lacks depth but can fixed *2019-03-10, version 1.2.10* The game is simply too easy and lacks depth especially in recruiting. Gameplanning does nothing important. There are about 10x as my many high rated recruits as there needs to be. There’s like 400 8ovr recruits EVERY year. It makes recruiting way too easy. Every season basically boils down to this. Throw all your recruiting points at the top 5 players who have your school in the top 5. This basically guarantees an 8-9+ and many times, multiple 8-9+’s. Then you play your season as fast as possible because there is no strategy in game. Recruiting desperately needs a full rework to make it fun and interactive. There needs to be a challenge mode with less high overall recruits. Also how is there not positions? ### 3/5 — Great game but... *2019-03-08, version 1.2.10* Found a bug where if I get fired it closes the app and gives me an error code. Only things I would change is have a quick codes that has all the real teams somewhere so that I could just copy and paste it. Also it would be nice if you could call timeouts so that your team can regain momentum or maybe take advantage and have a comeback. Just a thought but otherwise great game. ### 4/5 — Schedule *2019-03-06, version 1.2.10* I like this game very much but I bought the scheduler so I could make it harder and be ranked higher with a higher strength of schedule but I haven’t been ranked and I win a lot of games and my ZPI is always at or near the top? ### 4/5 — Best sports management I’ve played EXCEPT *2019-03-06, version 1.2.10* This game is definitely over the top compared to the others, the only problem I ever face with this game is that I can never win the National Championship. I am in my 8th-9th season or so and I’m at the point where I get 4-6 10 overall players on my team. I’m statistically the best team in the country, I will constantly go undefeated winning conference championships but can never get past the “sweet 16” and sometimes the “elite 4.” It’s whack and I don’t understand it. ### 4/5 — Fix this *2019-03-03, version 1.2.10* The game is good but certain things need to be fixed I’ll play an unranked team that’s undefeated when I’m ranked in the top 10 with one loss and I’ll lose by 20. I have been playing for 3 days and am now in 2038! I think it would be a great idea to make the pro leagues playable and to change the job offer system to make it harder to get a good job. And the game lags out at times when I click on settings and to pay for a game I should not be lagging out for simple stuff and last make the game a little more realistic with the simulation this is a college game and when do you ever see college teams blow out teams by 40+ and are constantly in the 100s it’s not the NBA. There are a lot of teams you can select between which is very nice. There are just a few things I’d like to be added. I would like for the recruiting to be by position more like in the college football coach game. I would also like the recruiting points to not have a max you can apply to one person. If you only need 2 players why should you only be able to put 50 points out of 250 towards them per round. Also I wish the names of the colleges were the actual names of the colleges. Instead of it saying Columbus Ohio I wish it said Ohio State also like the football game. Other than that I love the game. ### 4/5 — Great game, needs work *2019-01-16, version 1.2.10* Love the game, especially cook considering all Division one teams are it. But needs work 1.) the biggest thing, you can be ahead 300 points on a recruit and he will sign with another school which makes the point system totally useless. 2.) Quite a few bugs causing save file corrupting crashes 3.) if you are a great recruiter and get 4 or 5 max rank (10) players. Your cap is somewhere near 120-124 points and you can lose to team with 1 ten 4 nines rest 8 and 7’s which makes no sense. If you have superior talent and high consistency rating why doesn’t it count? ### 4/5 — Fun and Addictive *2019-01-02, version 1.2.10* This game is super fun and addictive and I cannot put it down. Realistic in how no win is guaranteed in the tournament. Only problem I have is that I’ll clearly be ahead in recruiting someone but they end up going to another school. After starting the season ranked #2 and winning my first two games handily the game decided that I should not be ranked at all for the rest of the season! This led to me barely getting into the tournament even after going undefeated! This meant that I had to play the #1 overall team in my first game!!!! My team was loaded with senior players who were the backbone of my roster and this is how we get treated?! Do not, and I mean DO NOT support this game. This bug may not happen all the time but I would hate for someone to spend their time building a team for the game to do the exact same as thing it did to me!!! ### 1/5 — Okay but *2020-02-08, version 1.2.10* You have to pay to do stuff inside of a game that you already paid for. I was okay with losing big games because I knew my team was worse and I looked forward to recruiting. Now that I’ve built up the program, I still lose big games. I’ve had a team with 3 10 overalls and bench that doesn’t go lower than 8 overall lose to a team with 2 10’s and a bench full of 6’s and 7’s. I’m ashamed to say I paid for this game. Also the opposing team will have an 8 overall key player go for 40 simply because my team shut down their 6 overall bench. This game hasn’t seen an update in over a year and still super basic. Something needs to be done or I’m just deleting the app. ### 2/5 — Beware Clearly rigged *2019-01-06, version 1.2.10* The game is clearly rigged to make you want to buy the recruiting bonuses, no matter how good a team you have you always will lose in the first or second round. I have teams of only 10s and 9s and lost in the first round to a team that was all red compared to mine. And recruiting means nothing it’s just pure luck, you have a player that has you as their top team and you’re in the lead for points and that choose a random team not even in their top 5. Overall it’s a good idea which is why it has 2 stars instead of one but it’s clearly rigged so I would stay away until those problems are addressed by the developer. ### 2/5 — The recruiting is the biggest flaw *2018-11-27, version 1.2.10* Explain to me how in week seven when I am the recruits #1 college, both in points allocated to him and his own top choice. Why does he choose someone else! ### 2/5 — Fun at first... *2018-05-21, version 1.2.10* Very fun at first, one of the best apps ever..and then..in my 10th year, have 4 top rated players, ranked #1 going into season, undefeated halfway through the season and I’m unranked all the sudden, finish the season undefeated with having beat 8 ranked teams and I’m unranked, I win my conference tourney and I get put as a #17 seed in the play in game. ### 2/5 — Not worth it *2018-03-14* I thought I would buy all the features right off the bat and spent the money which I regret. I played 5 seasons over the course of two days and in that time the same exact team won the national championship every year. Recruiting was so easy, I got almost every recruit I went after. To practice in between games with a player is agonizing, but if you sim it’s not worth it either as you have just as much of a chance to fail. Trying to find where your players are in the stat rankings is awful as it is a bunch of colored lines that mean nothing. You get offered money for your coaching contracts and it doesn’t do anything so there is no incentive to leave. I took a team from a 1 Star to 4 Star prestige in 4 years. All in all this is a far better game than I can develop, but far from something I’d feel comfortable charging for. ### 3/5 — Fun, but needs a few tweaks *2019-07-19, version 1.2.10* Fun game to build up a perennial powerhouse. My only major complaint is that once you build up a powerhouse you get penalized for being so good. Stashing multiple 9s or 8s because my team is so stacked means that I’ll jump out to huge 20/30/40 point leads. Feels like I get penalized for this and my top player underperform relative to their overall (score less than 15 almost always) which is a bit BS when you look on the other side and the opponents top guys all score 20+ to lessen the deficit and even win the game. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — GOATED GAME *2025-09-16, version 1.2.10* I found this game in 2017 and I have been playing it ever since. Unfortunately a few years ago I got a new phone and lost this game and was sad to hear it was no longer on the App Store. I am so happy it is back so I can play it again. This game is nothing like I have found before and it has all the aspects of college basketball without all the analytical parts. Some complain about practice, which you can simply aim if it’s that bad. Others complain about the in app purchases, which are completely unnecessary and my team has been God’s each year without it. There’s no lag and it’s just a simple great overall game. The only thing I would like to see happen is something similar to new soccer star, where you can actual buy stuff with the money you have earned for coaching.
