Have completed hundreds of seasons it. Cannot recommend it enough. It’s simple but engaging and it’s just so much fun to rebuild a football program or rise the ranks as a coach. With that all being said, I’d love to see the semis be expanded to a 12 year playoff to keep it modern. I also get hit with random sanctions when not doing anything wrong. Not even keep early declarees or taking transfers. Just straight recruiting (without using the “bagman”) and I get a sanction. I am a Purdue fan, and the only thing that you could add to this game to make it perfect would be to add them. And this goes for other teams too. Mississippi State fans should also be able to play with their favorite team. These are just two examples though, there are many more just like this. One Minute detail I would love to see added could be solo, assisted tackles, Half sacks and things of that nature. The game could be better if they added more features. When in a game the plays should be labeled :example a man coverage play it should say man, and it goes the same for zone coverages. Same for offensive plays, it should be labeled as runs and passes just to, and long, deep, medium. It should also say the formation the play is gonna be in. Another that i think would make the game better is the positions. There should be a football grid where offense and defense should be on, and you should be able to switch played positions. Example: Receivers should be able to move around like the TE’s to receivers and vise versa. They should even be able to get switched to fullbacks or running backs. Same for the other defensive side. You should also maybe be able to view the plays in real time, that may be to much to ask for, but i feel like that make the game entertaining. It’s already entertaining as it is, I’ve played this game for hours and seasons, but that.. will make me play for i don’t know how long. I think it’s one of the best college sim games that I’ve found. Unfortunately, the latest update is from 3 years ago, so the game now feels dated and abandoned. I typically play in 25 year increments, but my most recent save file only has 6 years. I went through it and discovered that I stopped playing after a 28-14 win in the CGC was recorded as a loss, costing me a chance at the playoffs. I emailed the developer about this glitch and never heard back. With NIL and a 12 team playoff now in existence, kthis game is in need of an overhaul.
