College Walk is the field app for the College Walk Media production team. Sign in with a one-time code from the College Walk Media web app and you'll see the work assigned to you, without digging through folders.MY WORK See the shoots and concepts you're on the hook for in a single list. Tap any item to read its concept and script so you know exactly what to capture before you head out. BROWSE Look through brands, concepts, and shoots across the roster when you need context beyond your own assignments. UPLOAD FOOTAGE When a shoot wraps, send your clips to the right shoot straight from your phone. Uploads run in the background and keep going while you use other apps, so you can start the transfer and move on. The app is read-and-upload only: you view your assignments and send footage in. It never changes production data on its own. Access is limited to College Walk Media team members. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.8 — 2026-08-27 Set the hours you can shoot once and they repeat every week. When one week is different, open it and change just that week. Shoots is now a running list of what is coming, however far ahead it is booked. A new Calendar tab keeps every shoot you have done, with a dot on each day you were out. Shoot times now know which city they belong to. If a shoot is in another timezone you see both clocks, so nobody turns up an hour out. ### 1.7 — 2026-08-20 Hand a shoot to an interviewer from your phone. If you run the field, a new Field tab lists every shoot still waiting on a person. Pick an interviewer and the shoot lands in their app, with the brief, the script and the upload button already there. Anyone who has not set up the app yet is greyed out, so a shoot cannot be sent somewhere nobody is looking. Swipe a shoot to take it back. A shoot leaves the list on its own once its footage lands. ### 1.6 — 2026-08-19 Collect signed media releases in the app. Hand your phone to the person you interviewed. They read the release, sign it with a finger, and take a photo of themselves. Each signed release files under the shoot it came from, and the signer is emailed their own copy. Sign a release with no signal and it is saved on the phone, then sends itself when signal returns. ### 1.5 — 2026-07-30 See what is already in a shoot. Open a shoot and every clip in it is listed — name, size, when it landed, and who uploaded it. The shoots list shows how many clips and how much footage each one holds, so you can tell at a glance which shoot you have already filled. Tap a clip to watch it. Rename or delete your own clips; a clip an editor has started cutting cannot be deleted. Uploads handle any size and any length. Long takes upload in parts, survive a dropped connection, and pick up where they left off if the app restarts. Footage keeps its camera filename instead of a random ID, and a clip can no longer drop out of a batch without telling you why. Browse now opens on active brands, with a toggle for churned ones.
