There are however some serious omissions. Thank God for other Apps like Reverse Context. As another reviewer noted 6 years ago, it is sometimes difficult to move from verbs back to the main dictionary. Frustrating - and it doesn’t seem to be very smart. I installed this new app recently because the one I purchased in 2013 froze on my new iPhone. It looks like the developer rushed to release the product without any quality control. The pronunciation is terrible; it sounds like computerized sounds rather than a human speaking. Most words are chopped or spoken robotically too fast, and a very large percentage of the words are spelled rather than spoken. For example, when playing the word “ich”, the app spells “i, c, h” instead of speaking/pronouncing the word. I started creating a list with these instances but stopped because they were too many. The French dictionary was much better, but I do not recomend the German version.
