### 1/5 — Lost all chats

*2018-04-27, version 3.1.7*

With the last update the app lost all my chats including things I still needed to follow up on.
It also wishes to collect way to much information. If this had been after May 24 this app would be subject to European fines.
This is very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2018-03-12, version 3.1.2*

I can’t get through the setup process because the app just keeps crashing. iOS 11.2.6. iPhone X and iPhone 7s+. I would love to use it if it worked.

### 1/5 — Crashing

*2015-05-06, version 1.0.1*

The app crashes every time I open and browse the event schedule for day 2.

### 1/5 — CEO

*2015-05-02, version 1.0.0*

The usage of the app is very poor. Why can't we pull all the info from twitter/FB. You have a LinkedIn connect, i try to and it says i cannot connect to in any longer. Also all fields are mandatory including a picture? Why cant we pull the pic from twitter handle? What if the profile pic is not in the phone. You ask me to enter a code to login. Can't there be an easier way to do it? I entered all the info and could not go to the next step and re-entered the app. all the info was gone. Had to redo it. Basics. I hope this feedback helps and if you could fix the ease of use it will really help. Appreciate the intent of the app though.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why make it simple when you can make it hard

*2021-04-21, version 21.0.3*

And in the meanwhile take as much info from users. Worst event, so complicated, the app wants even access ti my contacts. The marketing campaign was very good but the conference didn’t delivered for me. I wanted to participate in my desktop and in my terms. Awful experience

### 1/5 — Cheap trick forcing us to download the mobile app just to access conference

*2021-04-19, version 21.0.3*

Unethical

### 1/5 — Could not even get into paid sessions

*2020-07-01, version 20.1.5*

This was a joke Dash and even though the conference knows everybody had trouble, no refunds. Absolutely 100% unacceptable – will never participate in any conference again with them.

### 1/5 — 500 error

*2020-06-24, version 20.1.4*

I need to download an app to login to a website? Why? And even when you do login the premium channels are returning a 500 gateway server error lol

**Developer response:** Hi @Paul6847647 - sorry to hear that. For security reasons, in lieu of physical registration, we require attendees to download the Collision mobile app in order to validate their identity. We'll continue to improve the experience based on feedback. Thanks for taking the time to report.

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2020-06-23, version 20.1.4*

The only useful aspect of this mobile app is the ability to login to the desktop app — and even that is unnecessary. For the future, please ensure the app will not crash after 5 minutes, there is an ability to view my individual schedule, and that I can login online without having to pull out a glitchy app.

**Developer response:** Hi @jfly1327 - sorry to hear that. We fixed issues with schedule and the vast majority of crashes reported in the version you have now but we're hoping any other issues are resolved in 20.1.5. We'll continue to review feedback and improve. Thanks for taking the time to report.

### 1/5 — Super annoying!

*2020-06-23, version 20.1.3*

You had one job! The app just doesn’t work, I expected more out of websummit creators

**Developer response:** Hi @Jason McCarter - sorry to hear that. We hope updating to version 20.1.4 helped solve your issues but if there is anything specific you could help identify for us to improve, please contact appsupport@collisionconf.com. Thanks for taking the time to report.

### 1/5 — Web summit QR code scan doesn’t work

*2020-06-23, version 20.1.3*

Have wasted so much time on it. It just doesn’t work

**Developer response:** Hi @Aviralpandey- we received a huge response at the beginning of the event that caused issues for some users. We hope those issues were resolved for you quickly. Please contact appsupport@collisionconf.com if you need any more assistance.

### 1/5 — Scrolling is buggy

*2019-05-22, version 19.1.8*

Scrolling through app lags and makes app unusable.

### 1/5 — And a blood sample

*2019-05-20, version 19.1.7*

The app is mandatory to sign in to the conference and it’s really a 20 page form for their sponsors to target you.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2018-05-01, version 3.1.8*

A cheap app that they force you to download in order to get into the conference. Doesn’t matter that you paid already they want your device ID as well. Thanks for the force data grab

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great obviously!

*2017-05-04, version 1.1.2*

:)

### 2/5 — Don’t update unless you have your ticket defense handy

*2022-06-17, version 22.1.4*

The update requires you to re-enter your ticket reference. If you don’t have that you can re-request through the app. I assume the email is trapped in my spam filter. With no working app you can’t easily get into the conference.

### 2/5 — App keeps crashing nonstop

*2022-05-26, version 22.1.1*

App crashed and had to delete app several times before it worked again

### 2/5 — Personal schedule not in chronological order

*2019-05-15, version 19.1.5*

I took the time to select the talks I’m interested in attending but there is no ability to view them in chronological order so it’s necessary to scan all the talks multiple times to find out if I chose multiple sessions for a single time slot.

### 2/5 — Nice UI but crashes quite a lot

*2015-05-03, version 1.0.0*

The sudden crashes should be investigates and fixed.
