I’ll follow all the steps and when I do it the troops stay in the garrison. It has a decent number of maps and 35 nations to play. The smaller maps are quite fun to play however the larger maps by the time you get into ~3-4 hour mark you’re well above other nations so getting to the end is more of a chore than a fun time. I try to keep Africa safe and guess what happened? Morroco madhist and Zulu all declare war on me and now I only have 1 single colony in Africa. I try and keep Britain in Europe safe: France Prussia and Spain declare war on me and invade me. Like this game is nice but when every country in the known universe wants me to die. The game just stops being fun. And then after I won the third game, the ads began. Ads are so often (after each turn) that I’m deleting the game. I guess they think after playing 3 games you’re hooked so will put up with the ads? Or maybe they don’t care at that point if you delete the game because they know you’ll watch a few ads before doing so…. Also I don’t understand why the developer updated the victory screen to some cheesy plastic-looking green “you win!” instead of the old scroll that fit the game.
