## What is Colonny?

Colonny is a social network that connects local & Campus Communities. 
In order to build and strengthen local communities across Africa, Colonny connects people within a neighbourhood, so that they can participate in the local community conversations, buy and sell to people around & discover new places nearby.

With Colonny, SMEs can have more visibility for their products/services. Colonny app is a good use case for rallying to support local businesses, asking for recommendations, offering support, or meeting neighbours whose share similar interests.

You can use Colonny to:

See what's Buzzing around your community,
Make posts and let your Community know what's Buzzing around you,
Send private messages,
Relocate to other Local Communities and discover what's Buzzing there,
Ask your Community for recommendations, help or advice,
Alert your environment about the security situation.

The app does not require Geolocation and we do not track you. We use the information provided by users to connect you to your Local Communities.
