## What is Colony?

50 levels of addictive puzzling strategy fun! Play against your device or another player, taking it in turns to place triangular pieces on the board to fill up hexagons. When a hexagon has as many pieces within it as it has hexagons touching it, it explodes and sends its pieces to those hexagons, 'colonising' them and making them your own.

Gain bonuses by setting off chain reactions of explosions!

Once you've colonised the required percentage of hexagons for that level, you win and advance to the next level.

Plan your game wisely, as one wrong move can really turn the tables!

### 4/5 — Not Bad

*2009-02-03*

The UI is great, strategy is amazing-but it's the game that bugs me. I guess I'm just not the type of person to like this type of game, that's all. Other than that, it's fantastic.

### 5/5 — Good game but tougher than it looks

*2009-02-02*

Enjoyable game but much more difficult than it looks. Well worth $.99. If you like games that are difficult to master get this game.

### 3/5 — Great game but ....

*2008-08-25*

The game is very addictive and can be very frustrating when you have nearly covered the board only for the AI to complete a massive chain reaction.
In some circumstances there didn't seem to be a logic as to where the segments exploded to (some opposing colour segments weren't captured). Overall great game but would like to see more levels and more cell features other than free space or blocking space.

### 4/5 — Fun and challenging

*2008-08-22*

I would have given 5 stars had there been more levels. On the surface the game seems very simple and it seemed as though like another reviewer wrote that some things happen at random. However, after playing a while and reading the directions a few times I was able to pick up on the methods and strategy. I am thrilled with the game. It is fun and challenging and I love the 2 player mode.

### 4/5 — Plays like "Culture"

*2008-08-12*

If you have played Culture (here on App Store), you'll find this familiar.

You click a spot to add a color of yours. If there's no other pieces around, it will migrate/explode when you fill 3 parts of the spot, moving each piece to the adjacent spots. If you have like 6 pieces and there are less enemies pieces in the adjacent spots, they will migrate and "eat" the opponent's pieces. The objective is to claim the board.

Actually I haven't figure out the mechanics and to me it is pretty random the way the pieces jump and "eat" each other (just like Culture).

Anyhow, now it has a 2-player game, which is cool. This reminds me of the Microscope mini-game from The 7th Guest or the standalone game Ataxx.

- PS: -
I reported the "BAHAMA SUN DOT COM" user twice, but Apple doesn't seem to care about their costumers. Please, help the App Store community and report him as a spammer - no need to spam websites here, thank you very much.

### 5/5 — .

*2008-08-04*

Great game. Looking forward to improvements! Maybe should be 3 dollars but with improvements I'm sure itwill be worth the 5 dollars
