I was planning on using this app for my school Open House end of the year project and I can’t finish the project on a timely manner because I have to purchase more coins. What a waste of money this was. I would like to get my money refunded. **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback. Color AI subscriptions include a weekly coin allowance for AI creations, rather than unlimited use, because each generated image requires AI processing resources. Unused coins continue adding up, but additional coins may be needed for larger projects or faster usage. We understand this should be clearer before purchase, and we are working to improve how coin usage and subscription limits are explained in the app. If you would like to request a refund, refunds are handled directly by the App Store. You can also contact us through the app so we can assist you further. ### 1/5 — Cancelled immediately *2026-04-06* It’s a great app and paying $40 annually I don’t mind. But it just revealed to me that I have a limit of how many photos I can create. I didn’t realize that there is a “coin” system for every photo you turn into whatever filter. When you run out of “coins” you HAVE to pay for a set of coins to create another art or photo. What a let down. I cancelled immediately. Unless they make it unlimited, then I would resubscribe. I can find other apps that would give me unlimited access. This was the fastest way to lose a customer. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the time you took to share your experience. ### 1/5 — Money rip off *2026-03-28* After spending the amount for the year subscription: it is now wanting me to buy more coins to do more pictures. Tried to reach out to customer service but that’s a joke. **Developer response:** With the yearly subscription, you will receive new coins each week throughout the subscription period. You may either wait for the next weekly allocation or make an additional in-app purchase if you would like to add more coins sooner. I reached the limit to do so, and it says my coins have run out, even though I haven't used any. The quality is downright. Out of this world and it’s really fast. I am downright surprised on how good the quality how fast it is. What this App has to offer. You couldn’t use it to print out coloring pictures for your kids for yourself or for a business the possibilities or endless if you’re looking for a high quality photo to coloring page app that has outstanding quality.
