I’ve probably only been playing for a few weeks now and I’m back to having to color pictures I’ve already seen since downloading the game! U guys NEED TO UPDATE THEM REGULARLY! I don’t wanna do the same pictures a thousand times over! That’s so boring! Why didn’t u people take that into consideration?! DO YOU NOT WANT PEOPLE TO KEEP PLAYING YOUR GAME?! UPDATE THE PICTURES ON A REGULAR BASIS PEOPLE! It’s not that freakin hard! ### 3/5 — Decent but flawed *2026-01-04, version 2.0.5* I started playing in 2020 and bought a “lifetime membership” for like $40-$50. I stopped playing from 2021-2023 then in 2024 I redownload and all my progress for each map was gone (said i never played before), lifetime membership gone (and doesn’t exist anymore) and for the maps I could only see the new r/place for the 2022/2023, and maybe like 3 other ones I didn’t recognize. So like 5-7 new maps at most in 5 years of time. Despite all this I do enjoy it. It is addicting, good time waster, and itll take you about 3 months to get through the maps. The multiplayer feature is by far the best part. For the single player part I have completed all of the pictures. The only thing left to do is the multiplayer pictures which are the same ones that I have already completed. I understand that completing these helps to increase your experience and up your level but I wish sometimes that there would be new pictures to complete. The other thing is that some of the pictures I cannot complete. When I click on them it shows the numbers as all 0’s and then closes the app. This happens to a few pictures in the single and multiplayer sections. I love the challenge of getting an entire artwork done. I love working with people to get one of the huge artworks done. It is a lot of fun. I also love that if I want to go it alone I can! Or if I want to complete one just me and my friend I can do that too. There isn’t another game like it. Plus the artwork is amazing. It is relevant and there is something for everyone. The art is awesome. That is my favorite part honestly. Having autism I find it calming and repetitive. I like colouring each pixel individually and it may take days to finish a picture but when I finish I feel such an accomplishment. The only little thing I would say that needs tweaking is the colour bar going across the picture. It just means that I can’t get to some pixels and have to hold down for it to disappear so I can’t colour the pixels behind it. Which is okay but like I said I like to colour all the pixels one by one. I played earlier today and everything was fine. Then I started to play tonight only to find out I no longer have access to the pictures I was working on and will have to pay a “subscription” fee to continue to play. I was pretty sure I paid a one time price a couple of years ago and have no idea why I should pay again since you decided to change the rules. Honestly in this day and age of technology, something as simple as a pixel coloring in app should run superb on most devices. That’s it really. (Also, I miss the old name and app icon. The only downside is you can’t get to the pixels at the bottom because of the colour bar unless you hold down which is abit annoying. Also since the update some areas you have to zoom in a lot before the colours will appear which is frustrating.
