Decided to buy 'hints' .99 for 5, they didnt show up, tried again, nothing. Tried a last time, nope. It just sits there with a spinning wheel doing nothing - waited over 20 minutes to see if it would connect. (It typically takes about 5-10 seconds to restore purchases in other apps.) Was a fun game, but won't/don't recommend it at this point to anyone - so don't try to purchase any of the packs as you can't restore them on a new device. For now, if you feel you must have this app, I recommend only downloading the free version - it's simply not worth paying for any of the packs until they fix it.
