## What is Color Diary Sketchbook?

A quiet space for what words don't quite reach.

A drawing sketchbook for moods, with one warm AI reflection after each page.

felma is an iOS app for expressive drawing as emotional self-reflection. You pick a guided exercise (or draw freely), breathe, notice what's inside, draw it on a clean canvas, and an AI quietly reflects back what it sees. Then a closing line. Then you save the moment, or you don't.

A gentler take on art journaling — no clinical jargon, no diagnosis, no scores. Closer to keeping a sketchbook with someone thoughtful sitting beside you, who notices the things you didn't put there on purpose.

THE LOOP

A short check-in. A breath, a body scan, a moment to land. Then a prompt and a clean canvas with five brushes. Draw freely with your finger or Apple Pencil. When you're ready, tap Done.

The AI looks at your drawing and surfaces one thing you didn't put there consciously. Maybe it names a shape. Maybe it notices that you left a corner empty. Maybe it asks where in your day a feeling like that lives. It doesn't diagnose. It doesn't analyse. It asks one open question, then waits.

You can write a few words back, or sit with it in silence. Either way, the AI closes with one sentence — the last line of a poem.

WHAT'S INSIDE

— Five guided exercises across four categories (quick check-ins, body awareness, memory and imagination, free play).
— Pre and post-mood check-ins on opt-in exercises, so the AI can name a shift it can see.
— A gallery of every drawing you save, with a hand-drawn mood seal in the corner of each.
— Daily reminder, if you want one. No streaks, no guilt.
— Light mode, warm parchment, hand-drawn scribble vocabulary throughout.

MOMENTS THIS HELPS WITH

— A long evening when nothing in your day made it to your mouth.
— The morning before something hard.
— The minute after, when you don't know what just happened to you.
— Restless boredom that wants somewhere to land.
— Gratitude that's bigger than a sentence.

WHO IT'S FOR

— Anyone who keeps a notebook but never opens it.
— Quiet types who want a witness, not advice.
— Apple Pencil users looking for a sketchbook that means something.
— People who feel before they have words.
— Anyone who's tried mindfulness or journaling apps and felt watched, ranked, or pushed.

MADE WITH CARE

Warm parchment background. Serif type. Hand-drawn scribble vocabulary throughout. Five brushes tuned for finger and Apple Pencil. Animations measured in the milliseconds you can feel. Built in Germany by one person who wanted a calm sketchbook for the days when words come slow.

felma is an unhurried object. It rewards quiet attention.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-21

This is felma's first update since launch — and we wanted it to feel like an inward step.

Every exercise now opens with a small, quiet question that fits the moment. Your answer, the rhythm of your strokes, and what you've made in earlier sessions all gently shape what felma notices back. Reflections that feel a little more like yours.

After each session, felma asks a softer question to tag how you actually feel — anchored in the moment, not the drawing.

A few quieter things smoothed out too. Daily reminders now behave. Finishing a drawing lands you in the gallery so you can sit with what you made. And the Welcome to Plus moment now greets you before your unlocked practice opens, not after.

Thank you for being here. More to come.
