My two-year-old son asks for this by saying "colors". He doesn't quite get the idea of mixing colors although he loves the sounds it makes when they mix or get sponged up. However, he really enjoys drawing and coloring. For now, it is a fun drawing tool that helps him a bit with hand-eye coordination, but later I can see him learning more about colors and honing his fine motor skills with the connect-the-dots.
