It’s easy for me to go through and plan for my project. Only downside is it doesn’t recognise Waffleflower barcodes meaning have to spend ages taking the photo and labelling the item. Please add Waffleflower barcodes then it’ll be amazing app. ### 3/5 — Updates Needed! *2026-02-07, version 1.7.4* I just started using this and it doesn’t even have all of the Ranger Distress Oxide colors? For the last couple of months it has not been updating. I contacted the company and they say it the manufacturer (like pink fresh and Gina K) fault they are not updating their file. Then I contacted them. They have both said they send that info very regularly. So I can only think it’s this app not updating. They have to do something soon. It’s looking like I might have to go somewhere else that does. ### 4/5 — Good but no barcodes for uk *2025-06-09, version 1.7.3* Great little app for people who lose track of their stash, or just want to keep a ‘catalogue’. Beware though - it doesn’t recognise UK barcodes - I assume it’s a US app. You can find American products like distress ink on the search, but not most European stuff it would seem. Saying that it’s easy to add items from scratch so I would still recommend it. I am finding at times my images disappear - I go back and add and save and it vanishes again! Not sure if this is a software glitch (I’m on iPhone). Would love the supplier catalogues to be updated and add some UK manufacturers too. ### 5/5 — A treasure app for us paper crafters!! *2024-03-05* I was an Evernote user until the fee took a big hop recently, so started the hunt for an app that is specific to paper crafters. What a treasure I found in Color My Life! The developers are paper crafters themselves so much thought was put into this app on what is needed. I went from their trial issue right into the Pro Plan within about 3 days of using it. Easy to use! Thanks, CML for this great app. And there is a web version too! ### 5/5 — Great App! Saves me time & money. *2024-03-03* I’ve been using this app for several years and am still pleased with the performance. It allows me to keep my own catalog of my crafting supplies inventory. I no longer buy duplicates of something I already own. My favorite feature is the tags section as it’s currently completely customizable. It was a surprising that some big name brands were not in the system. I could understand the smaller boutique brands not being recognised, but the big ones? I acknowledge that it would be a massive undertaking to collect this data but it would make the app vastly more appealing and, I daresay would generate more revenue. I was tempted to subscribe at first but possibly not now, sadly. ### 5/5 — Fantastic Addition to My Crafting Tools *2024-01-16* I have cataloged my entire stash. Now when I am looking for a “friendship” sentiment, I can search for that tag and see all of my stamp sets and the corresponding friendship sentiments! What a time saver! I can also add multiple pictures to an item. So I can save a picture of projects I have made with the items I used. I can also save pictures from card inspiration I find online for specific stamp sets. The search tool is very powerful and I can narrow my huge stash down very quickly to find what I need. Thank you so much for this amazing tool!!! ### 5/5 — Better than I thought *2024-01-15* Earlier I gave a 2 star rating because of the category issue, of not being able to update it, but have discovered that I can manually add a category for one item at a time, a bit time consuming, but worth it. Love how easy it is to take a picture of an item if the barcode is not found. The not found barcode is still added which I like, because the app caught a duplicate item. Another feature that I like is how the items are alphabetically arranged automatically. I am adding my products to this inventory system much quicker (from the barcode and picture taken with my iPhone) so it is saving me more time than other online inventory systems. Much prefer Color My Life app. ### 4/5 — Good App but….. *2023-12-21, version 1.7.1* I just started using this app and I really like it. The only thing is you need to add more stamp companies (ie Pretty Pink Posh, Hero Arts, Picket Fence, PinkFresh and Spellbinders newer items). ### 5/5 — CML saves me so much money and time! *2023-09-29* I have uploaded nearly 5000 items into this crafts inventory program and may have another several thousand to go. A quick check on my phone, iPad or iMac (whichever is close at hand) I can quickly determine if I have an item before wasting money on ordering duplicate items. When I want to make something I can quickly search by tags to see all the relevant stamps, dies, embossing folders and other related items I have on hand to choose from as well as see where the ones I want are located. I first purchased this app in December of 2020, and appreciate how the owners continue to listen to their subscribers and keep adding improvements. My favorite craft supply company doesn’t participate with CML so I don’t use the barcode reader function to upload data offered by many companies who do participate—a feature many users love—but I personally prefer to copy and paste directly from the manufacturers websites. But for many users this is a great function, and if you no longer have your packaging with barcodes you can still search CML’s massive database to find and populate your account. I emailed, but received no response. I tried probably 20 times to register and inserted my email and password only to get their pop up message “Please confirm your account by responding to the verification email”. Well they would NEVER send me the email!!! I even checked my spam and nope never would they send the email. I emailed their customer service and never received a reply. I am gonna continue using Excel for now I guess. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — This is what I’ve been looking for!!!! *2026-05-05* I’ve considered a lot of options for tracking my ever-growing craft supplies but the free options were either so basic that they were nothing more than a spreadsheet or so complicated that I would have to spend hours just getting them set up. Many paid programs were powerful and also cheap initially, but had raised their prices (Evernote) or limited the amount of data unless you paid substantially more. This app is perfect! It is simple to set up AND use. The subscription price for premium options is very reasonable and worth every single penny. I haven’t completed putting my 10+ years worth of stamps and dies in the app and I’ve already saved enough money to pay for the annual subscription by using it to see if I had similar items in my stash before purchasing new ones. It’s so easy now to locate what I’m looking for and so much easier to update than any of the previous systems I’ve tried and abandoned because maintaining them was challenging. I’ve been using this app going on 2 years now and can’t say enough good things about out it. I have NO IDEA why it only has 4 stars?! It’s even formatted to be full screen on the iPad. It’s a great app, at a GREAT PRICE. Easy to navigate, intuitive and can be easily customized to be specific as you’d care to be (coming from an organization fanatic). A friend of mine had been using Evernote, and they just doubled the price to $250 per year for the “professional” version, which is insane. Now, before I buy, I scan the barcode or use the search feature to see if I already have it. Quick and easy solution. Can we get Tim Holtz products please!!! ### 5/5 — I’m Organized Now 😍 *2025-06-04* I’ve had this app for just under a year and I have been very happy with the ease of entering items, and the ability to add tags to items for searching for a specific item is a bonus. I know what I have, and I know where to find it. Lots of details can be added to each item or keep it simple. All up to you. Some manufacturers share their barcode info so scanning in info makes entering quick work. God forbid but if you had a disaster insurance companies want descriptions and price catalogued. The wish list having a sku photo and inspiration should be a selling point to those companies. I’m cataloguing now by using my past orders and finding projects I want to do with items I forgot I bought!! Once everything is in my app I will likely hire a teenager to tag every item. I’m getting older and slower and will love searching a word and seeing all my options! You may already be doing this but I would definitely get a booth at these paper crafting festivals.
