## What is Color Picker?

Color Picker AR is an application designed to assist you in creating color palettes for your art projects, as well as collecting and detecting colors in various ways:

Create a color palette from an image or photo: Automatically generate color swatches from uploaded images or manually select colors using the Color Picker tool (Eyedropper).

Generate palettes from the colors around you: Simply point the camera at an object to capture and detect its colors. The app will identify the color name and code of the selected area on the screen.

### 5/5 — Great Palette Generator

I’ve tried a few different apps and other than an expensive subscription based app - nothing comes close. The random palette generator is the main feature that I love about this app. I love the harmony feature which allows you to see a color’s various relationships. There are a few small improvements I would like to see: 

1. The ability to add more colors in the magic palette generator. (I think it’s currently limited to five or six)

2. The ability to create folders for organizing my different saved palettes. Also (and this is not important at all) but the ability to save the palettes without creating a name would be nice. 

3. The ability to save specific colors! 

4. Also one last thing I almost forgot… The auto color palette generator from image uploads. I wish that there was a way to get the amount of colors narrowed down. With the manual option I am able to choose all the colors I want. I would love it if the auto palette generator automatically narrowed down the main color palette and allowed me to save it automatically. (Currently an auto generator will pick up about 5 different shades of each color for me to choose from and to create a palette manually.)
