## What is Color Picker X?

Color Picker X is a professional color identifier and palette generator built for UI/UX designers, graphic designers, and programmers - and it works completely offline!

Point your camera at anything or import a photo from your library. A magnified reticle gives you precision when dragging, pinch-to-zoom lets you get closer, and in live camera mode you can lock focus and exposure with a long-press for tricky lighting. You can also rearrange the on-screen controls to suit your grip which is especially useful on larger phones.

-- Every format you need --
Color values are shown in the most common formats used in design and programming, including HEX, RGB, HSL, HSB, OKLCH, Lab*, SwiftUI, and UIKit. For print designers: CMYK conversion uses a real ICC profile instead of a basic formula. RAL Classic matching shows you the closest standard physical color.

-- Extract palettes from photos --
Import any photo and extract a balanced color palette based on how humans actually perceive color, not just the most common pixels.

-- Organize and export --
Save colors into collections with custom names and memos. Export palettes as ASE (for Adobe, Figma, etc.), CSS variables, JSON, SwiftUI, UIKit, or plain text. Full library backup and restore (import) is also built in.

-- Colorblind simulation --
Four built-in camera filters: Grayscale plus three colorblind simulations (Protan, Deutan, and Tritan) for real-time accessibility testing and inclusive design.
