How do you make them go away? What happened? ### 1/5 — Colour veil *2018-11-03, version 1.5* I am visually impaired so was hoping this app would work like colour veil to help take the glare of white light away. I'm sure that once I get used to the app I will love it. ### 3/5 — Whachuneed. *2026-03-16* although I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't do a landscape mode, which is really only a problem on iPad, this does exactly what I needed to do I guess. ### 3/5 — Good idea, below average implementation *2025-11-04, version 1.8* No ads, (so far) no subs, no additional purchases, all good things. BUT, ugly and awkward parameter settings and editing, and does not adapt properly to a landscape screen. On the iPhone, it just doesn’t do anything when the phone is in landscape — the controls do not move. On iPad in landscape, it presents a clipped intersection of the portrait format and the landscape screen — a green square with black bars on each side, instead of the expected full screen color panel. In Portrait on the iPad it fills the screen and rotates the controls to match. ### 3/5 — Could be perfect *2017-05-24, version 1.3* I love the simplicity and look of this app but there are 2 problems - otherwise I'd give it 5 stars: 1. The display dimming and turning off isn't disabled - so this happens after a few minutes (unless you have auto-lock set to never). I have another app that does disable this and the screen stays bright constantly so it must be doable. 2. When I come back to the app after a few hours it's gone back to default blue colour and it's fiddly to select the favourites. It would be great if it remembered the last colour and kept this after re-launch. Also perhaps have swipe left or right to access favourites? By the way, I use this with a red/orange light for reading at night - and checking on my sleeping baby. I really appreciate that's you've given this as a gift - thanks! :-) ### 3/5 — Every color imaginable - except white. *2016-08-08, version 1.2* Great app if you need all colors of the rainbow. Of course rainbows don't have white and I can't find a way to have a simple white light panel. Easy to use though. Maybe I'm missing something 'cause not sure what the developer was thinking. Half the time I tap the screen to get the controls to disappear they simply go from the middle of the screen to the bottom then back to the middle again. Other than that it works well. Ideally one would want to be able to adjust in kelvin or at least include the colour range from tungsten to pure white 5200k. Also,when adjusting for a white screen it is impossible to see the sliders as they are also white.
