So I tried it out, and it was fun at first, playing levels and upgrading the room. But recently there was an update, so all my progress (in the levels, not in the room) got wiped, and there’s a new energy system that makes it so I can only play around 3-4 levels before running out of energy, and of course the only way to get more energy is by waiting some arbitrary amount of time or by paying with in-game currency, which unless you save up, you’ll barely be able to afford a single purchase of more energy. I am not pleased, to say the least. Definitely going to delete the app after writing this. 😑 ### 3/5 — broken levels *2022-10-04, version 4.0.0* i love this game - even got the add free version. however, the level tree is completely broken. it stops working at level 40, and even though it still lets you play - the level numbers are completely messed up. it will take me from level 98 to level 101. ### 3/5 — Too many ads *2022-09-11* This is a good game spoilt by the number and frequency of ads. I would’ve easily given this game 5 stars before they started the energy system. Now, you only have a certain amount of energy and the number of moves you make depletes the energy. Then you have to wait a certain amount of time for the energy to refill and keep playing. You download the game hoping it’ll be good at the first 1-3 stages it seems fine but THEN, your on stage 5 now and when your sorting you get an AD so your like “Oh! An ad ill just skip it!” BUT THEN YOU REALIZE ITS ONE OF THOSE ADS YOU HAVE TO WAIT TO END TO SKIP IT. Know your like “Oh! Thats fine thats probably something that will never happen again!” So you get all your stars and start upgrading BUT THEN, YOUR AT LEVEL 6 NOW AND THERES MORE ADS THEN BEFORE! So your at stage 50 now and THERES LIKE 58 ADS FOR EVERY DARN SECOND.>:( i really hope they reduce the amount of ads or let you skip them OR make having the ads optional. ### 3/5 — Fun but annoying ads *2022-07-31* This game is fun. I’m not sure if I can stand the ads that keep popping up right in the middle of a level though. Sometimes the colors are close together and I want to study them before making my move. Right when I get ready, in pops another ad, breaking my concentration. For those who are complaining about the ads in the game, don’t play on data/WiFi. Decent game but it likes to crash my phone if I play on WiFi, thus enabling phone crashing ads. Would have been three stars if not for crashing my phone often. Also, this game turned my phone into a mobile furnace. Not sure what’s up with that. I was pretty attached to them and their goofy chicken dances lol. The game itself is fun and relaxing, and I appreciate the recent addition of symbols on the cards to help distinguish which stack they go on to prevent any possible confusion. And there’s something satisfying about how the haptics tick when a stack is finished. I’m also grateful for the recent addition of being able to pay to remove ads. ### 4/5 — Update is meh *2022-08-21, version 4.0.0* LOVED this game originally. However I’m not a fan of the new update. I had to restart all the levels all over again, and it was made too easy by “telling” you which cards go in which column. Appeals to the graphic designer in me ❤️ However, the ads are very distracting and would be happy to pay for an ad free version of this game. I do appreciate that I’m not asked to pay for stars or to upgrade anything… The color sort levels are a cool way to challenge your color/ombre acumen. There are also fun bonus levels that turn into shapes! As for the interior design upgrade section of the game, it becomes semi pointless past 100 levels… The characters are wandering aimlessly and then randomly dancing to no music? LOL I would recommend completely changing the environment every hundred levels or so, or just get rid of this part of the game and let people play what they came for… the super fun color sort levels. I really enjoy playing that portion of the game!
