### 4/5 — Great app! Add widget?

*2026-01-08, version 6.3.11*

Love this app and use it to listen to our local classical station while I work. I’d love to see a widget available for it so I can make it more prominent on my screen. :)

### 5/5 — Easy and user friendly

*2024-11-05*

Absolute blast to easily access live CPR, especially to catch the behind the baton series. One of the best public radio apps I’ve ever used. I’ve yet to have any technical issues and it least to access the four different “station titles”

### 5/5 — could use improvement

*2024-10-31, version 6.2.8*

hmmm

### 5/5 — Love it

*2024-10-30*

The classical station brought me here. I've been streaming "Night Music" via my Alexa for months like some sort of caveman. No more! Thank you to the developers of a functional and thoroughly enjoyable app.

### 5/5 — Much Improved

*2024-09-14*

The cpr app is my primary source for listening to cpr classical. I found it frustrating on the previous design to keep up on the pieces and composers. Loading the playlist often took a bit. I love the new format and having the playlist as the homepage.

### 5/5 — Warm welcome to Colorado!

*2024-06-24*

We moved from Vermont to Colorado Springs a month ago, and immediately searched for our news and information “embassy.” KCCR has given us windows into our new community’s history, culture, and entertainment, while keeping us apprised of national news in reliable, balanced NPR fashion. We are particularly enjoying Colorado Matters and Colorado Postcard. You make it easy to assimilate into a new home! Happy to be lifelong supporters of NPR, wherever we live!

### 5/5 — Great introduction

*2024-06-19, version 4.6.38*

Excellent station! Visiting a Colorado Springs area. Delighted to discover KRCC.

### 5/5 — Nice

*2024-05-22, version 4.6.38*

Easy to use and on the eyes.

### 5/5 — Trusted source for local news

*2024-04-15*

Reporters for CPR are doing an amazing job covering our state - providing thorough and timely news, important accountability journalism, and thoughtful features that provide insights and build empathy. Thank you so much for what you do for our state!

### 5/5 — Works great

*2024-03-14*

Like the choices

### 5/5 — Great for all night, sleep and also creative endeavors

*2024-02-27, version 4.6.17*

Should be used at least 3 days/times a week to keep your spirits high, health good, growth of energy. Makes you feel great.

### 5/5 — Strong App!

*2024-02-23, version 4.6.17*

When I have the chance to visit CO I always tune into CPR. Thanks for providing my news wherever I go!

### 4/5 — Quality content, usable app, minor bugs

*2024-01-16*

Overall love CPR. The app is very usable, if a little visually outdated. One minor bug: some stories occasionally get stuck at the top of the feed until well after they are relevant news. No discernible pattern as to which ones get stuck or why. More of a nuisance than anything, but worth noting nonetheless.

Will happily update my rating to 5 stars if/when that minor bug is resolved.

Support free public media in any way you can!

### 5/5 — My favorite work app

*2024-01-16, version 4.6.17*

Wonderful to see what is playing and to go back and see what was played. All day on my iPad at the office

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2023-01-12, version 4.5.43*

The site keeps crashing. Very frustrating

### 2/5 — Troublesome

*2025-02-03, version 6.2.19*

Compare this to a few other radio apps and decide for yourself.

### 2/5 — Out of date

*2024-01-29, version 4.6.17*

This app is hardly ever refreshed. The same news stories have been on the front page for a month.

### 2/5 — Meh.

*2023-12-16, version 4.6.17*

You can tell a jr developer did this.

### 3/5 — Sensitivity

*2026-02-01, version 6.3.11*

Only issue with the app is that it’s way too sensitive when trying to scroll through articles. Random articles open when I’m trying to scroll past them.

### 3/5 — Top tier content - bad app

*2025-09-05, version 6.3.8*

It’s taken me three days to understand how to listen to true live radio - not simply a ‘most recent’ live update that ceases after 5 minutes. It’s menial, sure, but I dropped another app that was just like legit radio so I’m being dramatic

### 3/5 — Love the content, not the app

*2025-07-27, version 6.3.2*

Of course CPR has great reporting content. But their app…is not user friendly. My biggest sticking point is that the scroll feature is overly sensitive and selects stories I did not tap on. Annoying!

### 3/5 — Longer buffer please

*2025-06-08, version 6.3.2*

Fails with short signal outages while driving

### 3/5 — Make it possible to stop, not pause, from the Lock Screen

*2021-12-27, version 4.5.30*

Please add the ability to STOP the news stream from the phone’s lock screen, not just pause it momentarily. Really annoying. Minnesota Public Radio’s app is an example of how every app should work.

### 3/5 — New app sooooo much better, but…

*2021-11-24*

The new app is much more stable, faster, the controls aren’t as vulnerable to inadvertent inputs. It’s still a multitasking clunker - still shuts off randomly when I access another app or a function within an app, and changes to the other CPR stream (Classical, Indie, KRCC) when all I want to do is check something on the page. We’ll see how responsive CPR is to working the bugs out or if they overlook them as they did for years with the old one.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-12-23, version 6.3.11*

Very happy with you glad to stay informed

### 5/5 — Classical Format

*2025-10-13*

Outstanding: Easy access to programming layout concurrent with live music which easily transfers to iPhone and other devices.
I have not found upcoming music schedule but it must be there somewhere.
Would be good to easily review for times to tune in to favorites during the day.
I will keep looking.
Wonderful selection priority, focusing on the great composers that we know and love.

### 5/5 — Outstanding and Motivating music!

*2025-06-15, version 6.3.2*

I enjoy positive sounding music and CPR is the best I have heard anywhere. Keep it up and the single composer days and weeks are great. Especially John Williams, Beethoven, Copeland, etc. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Radio

*2025-05-23, version 6.2.19*

I use it for listening to Indie 102.3 and it seems to do that, so…

### 5/5 — Tip Top

*2025-05-13, version 6.2.19*

So much useful audio information—great if you’re not a commuter!

### 5/5 — So glad I found this

*2025-03-28, version 6.2.19*

Love supporting public services, and now I can listen all the time instead of just driving in the car.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2025-01-16, version 6.2.19*

I always keep it handy while listening to CPR Classical so that I can find out what I’m hearing.

### 5/5 — Love ease

*2025-01-03*

I appreciate usually being able to access CPR content. I also like that I can use some voice features on my phone and continue listening to my music, but I’m not sure if that’s an app feature or part of my phone. Just adding my stars and appreciation for Colorado Public radio.

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2024-12-25, version 6.2.19*

I love this app, I can get all of my music, local public radio news, and anything else I need, and it’s very accessible to people using VoiceOver for the blind.

### 5/5 — CPR

*2024-12-18*

Hey, I used to listen to this news station when I had a flip phone and I’ve always enjoyed it now I have access to 1 023 and the classical station so I couldn’t be happier and I enjoy CPR so much and can’t wait to give more supportfinancially
