Shut off phone with app closed and still frozen when attempting to use NOTHING on screen works. App was loading but accidentally tapped mile marker layer option and it stopped working 100% destroyed functionality of app. Shutting off phone with app closed does not work. A friendly police officer stopped to help us figure things out and told us to use the CoTrips.org website instead. He hadn’t even heard of the app and it was apparent the app wasn’t updating with current information which is dangerous when crossing the mountains in the winter. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App got worse *2026-01-29, version 6.0* Previous version was great showed traffic all over the state. Now it only showes traffic on interstate. And interface is more difficult to use. Why would you “update” something that is working fine, to make it less useful. ### 1/5 — Color Scheme is Terrible *2024-12-26, version 5.4* I don’t get it. The color scheme the developers chose is beyond frustrating. Why can’t they use green-yellow-orange-red? The map is interactive with alerts. The color for wet roads is nearly the same color for icy roads. Brown means windy? What if it’s both? This app is total garbage. Take some hints from Wyoming’s road conditions app. Color the road appropriately and use the touch alerts to explain the caution(s) ### 1/5 — Legend needs to be updated *2024-03-14, version 5.4* Looking at the map and there are circles with a dash. The app is just what I expected and wanted! There was a slight glitch in the app causing me a little problem. I informed the developer via the in app feedback. He immediately responded and fixed the problem, and kept me informed during the process. Ya' just can't ask for better service! As for the app: I truly enjoy it and rely on it for traveling information. The road cams are a necessity for me during winter travel and help me decide when to travel. The historical markers are fun to read and contain photos of the sites. So, "arm chair" traveling is also fun. I really appreciate that it shows road conditions and CDOT cameras. These are what I really need to know how long it's going to take me to commute from Denver down to the Springs. This is the best app I've found for figuring out how safe or frustrating my drive might be.
