### 2/5 — $50 to figure out what colors?!?!

*2022-08-26*

I never get a 100%. I found out I was colorblind when taking a written driving test in Korea… but you have to pay $50 to find out what colors?!?! I know it’s some shades between blue & green, & that’s enough for me…

### 2/5 — Price

*2022-06-17*

I’ve been colorblind my whole life and I know that. I was curious so I downloaded the app. It gave me my results (48% but we don’t talk about that) but only gave me results to 2 of the questions. For the rest you have to pay so it was honestly kind of useless.

### 2/5 — Have to pay

*2020-05-17, version 1.6*

You can’t see test results unless you pay for membership. It’s not free and not usable unless you pay

### 1/5 — 看結果要付費

*2020-02-10, version 1.6*

看測驗結果要付費

### 1/5 — Eh

*2020-01-16, version 1.6*

I knew i was color blind and this helped me find out what kind but i cant see my results because you have to pay for a pro version for a one time use app.

### 1/5 — SCAM

*2019-12-12, version 1.6*

This app is a scam intended to trap you in a $150 annual subscription. Read the description before you download this garbage.

### 1/5 — RIPOFF

*2019-10-26, version 1.6*

This is the worst color blind testing app. You need to pay over $100 a year just for a color blind test. This includes a full report, unlimited tests, and get access to the time limit change. All these features should have not cost money plus it is overpriced. What a rip-off.

### 2/5 — Ding! Ding! Ding! but not a winner

*2019-10-01*

Can’t comment on how well it worked because I couldn’t get past the clicking and dinging. It clicks between each test (like an old slide projector - not bad) but during each test it dings loudly every second as the timer counts down (like the sound of an old fashioned service desk bell - awful).

I couldn’t find a way to silence the sound effects other than muting my phone so I quit and deleted the app.

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2019-09-06, version 1.6*

You have to become a member with a rather large membership fee to see your results. Waste of time. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

### 2/5 — Usually can’t finish due to time and dvertisement

*2019-02-19*

This is not like the test I’ve had at the doctors. It’s so fast that when I see nothing (most of the time), I don’t have time to touch nothing, or it’s not a choice and I just choose any number due to lack of time. I can’t find an explanation about how this test works leading me to believe it really doesn’t. Real scientific tests with significant validity cost money. I’ve known since kindergarten when I was unable to distinguish and accurately name the colors in a box of 6 crayons and spent a lifetime learning to compensate as best I could. Although it limits jobs and presents daily frustrations and more than occasional dangerous situations. It’s not considered a disability. I think the only numberI see is 13. The rest are all “NOTHING.”

**Developer response:** hi,good news: you can now choose how much time is allowed on each exam questions, cheers!

### 1/5 — No map

*2019-02-08, version 1.5*

When you take the test and complete it, other than the note I have color blindness, which I already knew, there is supposed to be a map below NO MAP! What happened?

### 1/5 — Eye patch

*2018-11-13, version 1.5*

I’m a kid that has to ware eye patches for 2 hours and my mom wants me to find a game to help me with it

### 3/5 — Nice program but there shouldn’t be a time limit

*2018-10-02*

There shouldn’t be a time limit or higher then5 seconds.

Especially when at a doctor office you get way longer time

### 4/5 — Easier to pass than printed version

*2018-09-07*

The contrast is a bit more obvious on this test than on the actual printed plates. Not sure if that matters if you’re actually color deficient. FYI using an iPhone X. Might be different on other devices

I do like that it scrambles the order of the plates each time you start a new test

### 2/5 — Not enough info

*2018-09-01, version 1.5*

Everyone of the cards should have a nothing under it.
I am very colorblind and I saw only one number in all the cards (a #12)
It should also give results at to what colors you are color blind ie, red/green , blue /purple, etc

### 1/5 — Can be inaccurate

*2018-05-21, version 1.5*

The app shows choices the can leave to a correct answer even though the person taking the test dont really see the number, example an image would show something the resembles 3 or 8 and the choices is 3 12 5 7 of course that person would select 3 they should just put a keypad for the answer and eliminate choices so we can provide the answer we see not the answer base on the choices available.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Important Test, but NOT from this Rip-Off Seller

*2024-08-04, version 1.6*

I first used this Color Blindness Test 10+ years ago, when it was FREE. It was ESSENTIAL information, for MY PROFESSION. As a licensed Microbiologist you must distinguish certain colors (+ gradients) to accurately interpret immunofluorescent staining; such as Rabies Testing of brain (animal) tissue. Don’t waste your time and money on this App. For a measly $1.99 locate the Color Vision App by Dr. Ullman. Written by a physician who appears to be an Ophthalmologist [an actual Eye M.D.]; or at least, it appears that he is. Regardless, his Apps are [below] reasonably priced from $1.99 to $3.99. There are some high level imaging Apps and sophisticated medical Apps for physicians that may cost more depending on which components are added. I have NO association of any kind with Dr. Ullman. I came across his applications TODAY, when my previous Color Blindness App kicked me in the teeth; or at least, tried to.

### 1/5 — Nasty beg ware

*2024-01-21, version 1.6*

They let you take the test and only the inform you you have to be a member.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2023-01-24, version 1.6*

In app purchases are one thing…but no results after 10 minutes on the app? Just dumb

### 1/5 — Used to be free

*2022-02-19, version 1.6*

...and now it won’t tell you your results until you pay for it. Doesn’t stop you or warn you before taking the entire test though (which is a lot for a young child).

### 1/5 — $150 for a colorblind test

*2021-12-28, version 1.6*

No idea how they came to the valuation of $150/year for a simple color blind test. You can take the test but have to pay for the results, so unless you feel like being robbed don’t download this app

### 1/5 — Requires purchase to see results

*2021-07-21, version 1.6*

Wouldn’t have wasted time on it if I knew results were locked behind an in app purchase.

### 1/5 — Skip this one

*2021-01-16*

Don’t bother it will only tell you you have colour blind bit no details. Also the UI is a disaster

### 1/5 — Must pay for results

*2020-05-10, version 1.6*

Or do a 3 day trial and either cancel or pay. This should be revealed before you takes the entire stinking test!!

### 1/5 — Just do a online one

*2020-03-25*

When I see nothing(most of the time) there is not a nothing button or thing to do and you only have a option of 4 numbers. Plus when you want to see your results you only get to see 2 from your 18 slides taken if you want to see them you have to become a member which costs money.

### 1/5 — Results cost money

*2020-02-17, version 1.6*

Waste of time, makes you take the test then ask for payment to see the results

*2016-09-10*

I am not color blind and do not have any way for verifying its accuracy. Having said that its fast, simple and easy to use. Most importantly it's free

### 5/5 — Fun and accurate

*2016-04-08*

I use this test on children and they love it! It is a much better tool than the one provided at my job site.

### 5/5 — Good basic test.

Good, several colour combinations, not just red/green. A good start to detect any problems. Tried out on several family members.
