"Colorblind Goggles" gives the user the ability to simulate the eyes of a colourblind person, using your device's camera. This app uses high performance image processing algorithms to simulate 4 kinds of colourblindness, and can show all of them at the same time for comparison. This means that you'll get the smoothest video performance out of all competing colourblindness simulator apps. The user can either use the front or back facing camera, and can save the resulting image to the Photo gallery. This app is ideal for those that want to easily determine if their website or poster is colourblind friendly, simply by pointing their device at it. The algorithms used in the image filters are derived from the colour matrices mentioned the academic publication that I co-authored: "Do you see what I see? -Understanding the challenges of colour-blindness in online learning" Also included is a description of each type of colourblindness, for educational purposes. ## Key features - Simulate 4 types of colorblindness - Real-time camera simulation - Simultaneous comparison of conditions - Front and back camera support - Save images to gallery - Educational descriptions of colorblindness ## Recent user reviews (7 of 7) All indexed reviews: https://appshunter.io/ios/app/colorblind-goggles/id1063875867/reviews.md ### 5/5 — Vr camera *2021-03-19* Can you please make it so you can do split screen on one colorblind filter for vr? ### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work *2020-09-24* The protanomaly and deuteranomaly filters don’t work whatsoever - they just give you a black screen. What’s the point of the app if they can’t even get basic features to operate? ### 5/5 — Pretty Darn Cool *2020-03-17* My friend is monochromatic and I always wondered what it would be like to live in his world for a day. Thanks to this app, I was able to experience that and I was able to sympathize with him. A great app overall!! ### 4/5 — Videos *2019-10-27* The app is ok but it doesn’t allow me to take videos which is what I downloaded the app for but apart from that it’s great ### 5/5 — Extremely Helpful! *2017-11-18* This app is an extremely useful tool for designers who want/need to accommodate users who might be colorblind. Just select the “vision version(s)” you want from the lower-left corner of the screen and compare! ### 1/5 — A scam *2016-12-04* I point the camera at my phone with one of the colorblind filters and it doesn't work! So then I decided to search up the super Mario world logo which included many blues, greens, and reds, and nothing happened while I had both normal and the other color blinds turned on! Then I thought maybe you have to save the image and that doesn't work either! This app is a scam, don't buy it ### 5/5 — Great app! *2016-11-20* Does exactly what you would expect. Good quality, no lag. ## Frequently asked questions about Colorblind Goggles ### What types of colorblindness can Colorblind Goggles simulate?
