## What is ColorCatch?

Point your camera at anything — a wall, a leaf, a jacket, a coffee mug — and ColorCatch turns the real color in front of you into ready-to-use codes. Tap to catch, and get HEX, RGB, HSL, CMYK and the closest color name in one glance. Save what you love into palettes and build the reference library your projects deserve.

CATCH COLORS FROM THE REAL WORLD
- Aim the live camera and read the color under the crosshair in real time
- Tap to catch — the color is instantly broken down into every format you need
- Pull colors from your own photos too: pinch, zoom and tap any pixel

EVERY FORMAT, ONE TAP AWAY
- HEX for the web (#RRGGBB)
- RGB and HSL for screens
- CMYK as a handy print reference (approximate, not an ICC proof)
- The nearest standard color name, so you always have a word for it
- Copy any value to the clipboard with a single tap

BUILD PALETTES YOU'LL COME BACK TO
- Save colors into named palettes for each project, room or mood
- Reorder, rename and organize as your ideas grow
- Add a note to remember where a color came from

MADE FOR PEOPLE WHO WORK WITH COLOR
- Designers matching a brand or a photo
- DIY and interior fans planning a repaint
- Fashion, makeup and nail lovers capturing a shade
- Anyone who has ever thought "I want that color, right there"

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Colors and photos stay on your device
- No account, no tracking, nothing uploaded

Every color tool is included. A one-time Premium unlock (no subscription, no auto-renewal) adds unlimited palettes and full exporting.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-05

Stability improvements and minor fixes.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-05

ColorCatch now speaks your language.

The app interface is available in 11 more languages, including Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Slovenian, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Every button, label and color name now reads in your own language instead of English.

On top of that, live color reading now starts right after camera permission is granted for the first time, and the app clearly shows it's still reading until an actual color is detected, instead of displaying a guessed color.

Thanks for using ColorCatch. If it helps your work, a review means a lot.
