Designed with color vision deficiency in mind, ColorCue AI helps you confidently distinguish and name colors in your daily life — from picking clothes to choosing paint.

ColorCue AI uses perceptual color matching (CIEDE2000) for scientifically accurate color identification — not simple RGB comparison. The result is color names that match how humans actually see color.

• Fixed color sampling in imported photos — taps now identify the exact spot you touch, even in portrait photos
• Fixed the live color vision filter appearing rotated on screen
• Choosing a language during onboarding no longer restarts the walkthrough
• Freezing the camera right after launch no longer results in a blank frame
• Switching color databases now updates the current color name immediately
• The frozen image now keeps the color vision filter applied, so colors no longer shift when you freeze
• Fixed the flashlight button showing the wrong state after returning to the app
• The Contrast Checker now accepts 3-digit hex codes like #FFF
• Fixed History showing the wrong view after deleting a palette
• Smoother performance and lower battery use during live identification

• Color Vision Correction: The new eye button on the Identify screen now cycles through Off, Simulate, and Correct. "Correct" adjusts the live camera in real time to make hard-to-distinguish colors easier to tell apart.

• More accurate photo colors: Sampling from imported photos now reads semi-transparent areas correctly.
