But at least the basic functionality works: you can choose a color for your light. Beyond that it’s sad: there’s no security, so if your neighbor has this app, they can change your light color. There’s no way to remember a color preset. And it’s certainly not integrated with HomeKit or any automation system. No matter what color you choose, when you make it brighter, it turns white. The default white is slightly “off”, not quite the right 2700K or 4000K color, but you can choose a better one manually. The “music” feature requires you to manually scroll, with no search or alphabetical index, so if you have more than about 100 songs it’s be useless. Although I couldn’t get the music feature to play so I suppose it’s useless anyway. ### 2/5 — Unreliable. *2019-06-09, version 1.6.3* “No LED is connected” is the most common response when I try to turn on my light. The app doesn’t give me any instructions on how to pair the lamp to the app and everything I click on doesn't do anything! WTH am I supposed to do!?! ### 1/5 — Don't waste your time... *2020-03-31, version 1.6.3* This app is one of the worst ones I have ever used. I have to continuously rescan the QR code because it loses connectivity. I wanted this so I could get brighter light to paint with but when it loses the connectivity it sometimes takes three or four times to get it to hook back up. And if it loses it, the default light is very dim and until the connectivity is done again that is where the light stays. The drivers side headlight will not stay connected so it will come unplugged and go out. The app was ok for a while but the colors have changed in the effects portion of the app. The colors are dark, drab and down right ugly. I don’t understand why they changed. If I could give a rating of NO STARS I would.
