You really do need an Apple Pencil (or alternative) as you won’t get very far just by using your finger as you need fine control. The controls and colour palette are nice and just right. The only annoying thing hard to get used to is remembering to use two fingers to move the picture as try using one and you’ll be drawing a line across the picture. Not a problem if you haven’t coloured that part in. Takes a bit of time to fix if you have. An undo button in that situation would be useful. Definitely a nice way to pass the time and the free drawings are very intricate and will take a while to colour. The others are also priced right at 0.99 per back. Not sure how many are in the packs but even half a dozen is still worth it as there will be a good few hours per picture. [Edit: Just noticed says six per pack]. Would be nice to have something that is photorealistic to make a really nice challenge, maybe needing to zoom much further in to colour. ### 3/5 — Ok? *2020-11-27, version 1.1.5* Ok, so I am a kid, and I just downloaded this app and you have to draw it in yourself, now fair enough you may like it this way, but I expected it to be a thing where you pick your colour and then it fills it in, not have to draw it in. I must say, I am a bit disappointed of this, as I was looking for a fun app to colour in my own colours and not have to physically DRAW it in, as I enjoy other colouring games but just wanted another app to try it on, so just a warning, if you don’t have an Apple Pencil or a stylo to use on the device then this is probably a bad app, otherwise, it’s great :) ### 3/5 — I want to love it but... *2020-11-24, version 1.1.5* I love the pictures on this app and enjoyed using it, however I am now finding that the Apple Pencil not is consistently working when trying to colour. It's frustrating as no where near as nice to colour with a finger ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Most recent iPad version firmware upgrade ruined it *2024-06-12, version 1.1.5* The pen marker used to lay a really nice dark solid color but after the upgrade to the lates iPad the color laid is super light and hardly an color so you have go over the same place again and again and it still doesn’t put color down. There is no fill feature and the brush and pencil plus all the tiny spaces makes the coloring tedious rather than pleasurable. I do like the ability to color as light or heavy as desired. Creating a new color is easy as well. With added features or abilities I would give this a higher rating. Instead I am deleting it. Too much trouble to produce a picture.
