I’ve used it to colourise some black and white photos and it does a really good job. Be aware that it processes the files out in the cloud somewhere and not on your machine. Best not use for confidential or private images. Aber warum wurde das Gesicht meines Großvaters durch ein Bild aus dem Internet ersetzt? Wenn die KI nicht weiß, wie es geht, sollten sie das Bild nicht einfach mit irgendetwas retuschieren. ### 1/5 — AI Slop now, changes subjects *2026-05-12* I’ve been using this app for years. I would upload a black and white photo and it would give me back the photo with vague color and skin tint. But it at least it gave me back the same people and subjects. Today I used it and it provided me better colorization BUT different people with different clothes and with features of AI slop like multiple hands, webbed hands, and weirdness. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. Does not colorize your photo. It recreates a new image. ### 1/5 — Poor Rendering *2026-05-07* This app is only accurate in its rendering about 20 percent of the time. Often faces are changed enough to render the picture useless. Even worse it has added another head to a body where one does not exist. I have tried to improve a very faded color picture, but instead it changes the whole color scheme. Other apps do not do that. I have already turned off the automatic renewal. Anyone interested in a true rendering of an old picture, this app can’t do. ### 1/5 — Not *2026-03-24, version 3.3.1* Terrible correction. Dishonest way to boost download and expose! ### 1/5 — The new version is terrible *2025-12-12* I don’t know who thought this latest version of the software was better, but it’s not. Before you could select the individual fixes you wanted to do, and now, you have no choice. Unless the developers come up with another version that restores the app’s previous features, I won’t be renewing my Pro membership when it comes up for renewal in January. **Developer response:** Hello my friend. This version uses the latest model for colorization and restoration in one tap. It should produce better results.
